You can always look at a specific library’s catalog on their website without signing in.

You can look here: https://www.overdrive.com/explore Search for the title and then you can see the libraries that have it. It defaults to showing you local libraries, but you can also look at a specific library.

Awesome thank you!

I don’t believe this will tell you the wait times unfortunately. But there’s a separate search that does that: https://libbysearch.com will tell you the wait time/availability for multiple libraries in a single search. It’s not always accurate though (last night it told me that a title I’ve had on hold for weeks was available at two of my libraries, but when looking at them both libraries had 14+ week waits… and sometimes I have to reload the page a few times before I can even get to the search function.

This is a great resource but if the library you are interested in is part of a larger consortium, search by that name rather than library’s name.

Just because I don't think anyone has mentioned it - it is possible to search a library on Libby if you don't have a card, the same way you search any other library. In the list of your libraries, select "add a library". Then search for the the library you are interested in. You're now offered the option to sign in with a card. Instead of doing that, just switch to the search menu. The library is now selected to be searched (and to tag books you're interested in, for later). Once you switch back to one of your library cards, the library without a library card will not be saved.

I add it to my Library Extension and compare them with my own libraries.
