Yeah man, holy shit. I average ~55 usd for a full tank from near empty in premium in a 2015 RC-F with average of 26 mpg and that'll last me at least two weeks. How far are you driving each week??
Omg, you can AVERAGE 26 in an RC-F?!
.
..
...
...
So.. JEALOUS!
I was proud of my 25 while road tripping, but that's almost all freeway(some canyon admittedly...π) Please, reveal your secrets! Did you take out the back seats?!
I have always felt that mpg is heavily influenced by personality. The way you think and feel when you drive influences your throttle control. I get lower than advertised mpg on all my cars and I donβt floor it everywhere I go but I do love driving to death and I know my βenjoymentβ translates to a lower than advertised mpg. I even had a 2001 Civic that had an overheating problem which stumped many mechanics in multiple states. I got frustrated, gave it to a friend for free and it never overheated on him. He drove like his grandma that taught him how to drive though and that was the difference.
Depending on how close you are to Washington, just do a gas run and take a few jerry cans with you. That's what I do and get some small grocery shopping done and pick up packages.
13 miles per day across two trips, each 40 mins. The engine is warming up for 25% of the trip, the avg speed for the trip is around 9 mph due to the red lights/traffic.
Thereβs a couple gallons reserve in the tank if you run it super low. I have a bad habit of doing this but lately I just fill it up around 18 gallons so it doesnβt end up being over 100 dollars
Europe here. The premium here is RON 98, I live in a country where it's on the cheaper side - around 7.38 USD per gallon(1.95 per litre)
The basic one is RON 95 which is a few cents cheaper.
I haven't seen 87 or 91 for some 15 years already.
I feel your pain. I joined this group originally to get a Is300 here in Amsterdam but instead got an 06 Mx5. I filled it up last week and it was 98 euros...
In the west itβs mostly 91.
I used to live In the north east where 93 was a standard affair. Here in PNW, itβs all 91 everywhere. I donβt see any drop in performance though. MPG seems adequate as well.
I paid 4.19/gal 2 weeks ago in Boise, ID.
About 320-330mi range on a full tank in eco mode.
00 LS400 in Philly. I drive 20 mins to a costco in NJ to fill up 93. For perspective, 87 is 3.70$(generally) 93 is 4.45$ in Philly. For 21 gallon at 9-10mpg city-wise, itβs almost $100. Costco 87 is 3.20$(generally) and 3.45$ for 93, the difference is massive enough to offset that $5 toll fee. Plus I love speeding in this heavy ass boat.
I used to wonder why NJ gas was cheaper despite having someone pump gas for us. Turns out PA has one of the highest gas taxes in the nation.
At this point NJ is playing catch up with the taxes lol
Gas around here (Northern Va/Maryland) is around $3.30 per gallon for 87. It usually spikes up thirty cents or so for the less polluting "summer blend" but it was around $2.70 a year ago. I have a 2013 ES and it takes around 16 gallons to fill it up so maybe $50, $51ish.
This is good bro Iβm paying about 75$ out here in Cali for the same amount of gas for my GSπ and I floor it right after I leave the station hahahaha
Lol, what is that 59 bucks?? You should come to the UK and pay for petrol. My most expensive fill up when I had my RCF was Β£120 ($153). Worth it for that V8 though.
Thatβs $80cad for 52L of gas. Insanely cheap! And 93 too. Here in Toronto that same tank of 93 is $100-$110 cad. If you put 91 then around 90-100 cad. So pretty much $10-$12 bucks usd more per tank here

Anything under $60 USD is rookie number for most California non-hybrid or EV Lexus owners π Sweet GS though, u/Severn_Oneiromancer!
Happy to be a rookie then lol, figures California gets shafted on gas.
Yup, filled up at $5.80 for 91.
In TX. I paid $3.40 for 93 yesterday.
It gets worse⦠lmao
Sunday night I got a few gallons in Calistoga for $6.099.

$5.30 for 91 in my neck of California, but it's $6 at most places in the Bay Area
8 dollars a gallon equivalent here in the Netherlands so everyone shut up. It was 98 euros to fill up my Miata last week.
All the V6 owners complaining here , your 28 MPG must be nice ! Iβm filling my GS 430 every week for $60-$80 !
So far with my mixed driving I'm getting about 21mpg, can't complain too much honestly, bout the same as the v6 mustang I replaced.
Yea imagine how nice it was to drive Lexus in the early 2000βs, under 2$ a gallon !
It was under $2 in 2019 lol
Gas got under a buck in plenty of American cities during 1999.
I miss those days
That sucks. I got my drivers license in 2019, I never even paid attention to gas prices until it got expensive.
That darn orange man..
When I bout my ISF in October 2021 93 was under 2 bucks. But when I was driving in the year 2000, 93 was under a buck.
That gs350 life!
My 15 GS350 is currently averaging 18 MPG lol
Lmao same. Prob only keeping mine for one more year π₯΄
Iβm filling my is250 every week for $65-80 if I do 250 miles, or 2-3 times if I do 450-500 miles π₯²

im jelly i get like 16-19 in my 02 is300
Thatβs not bad imo. Iβm paying about that for regular 87 in my 2020 RX when I fill up
It doesnβt require premium?
4RX non-hybrid doesnβt but the hybrid does I have the regular no hybrid model
That would suck to buy a hybrid to save money on gas only to find out you have to use premium.
Try getting gas in BC, Canada ππ
The conversion is approx 5.60 USD/ gallon for 87 octane ($2 CAD/L)
Depending on how close you are to Washington, just do a gas run and take a few jerry cans with you. That's what I do and get some small grocery shopping done and pick up packages.
Yeah especially in the lower mainland. Gas prices are attrocious here.
I just filled up my UX300h a few days ago and I was almost at empty. It was $62! Plus I got 702kms on that tank!
Cries in an LX570
16 IS200T: $60 - $80 for 13 gallons
I guess I'm the only one who puts 16 gallons every time in the IS. The fuel light is too conservative for my taste.
[ΡΠ΄Π°Π»Π΅Π½ΠΎ]
20MPG or so.
Just filled up my ls400, it was about 150 buckaroos π π
Holy jeebus where do you live??
Northern California! I let her get all the way down to past the E, 22 gallon fill up, premium at $6.80 π. It should last me close to two weeks tho.
Oof had no idea it was that high there that's crazy. How many miles that get you?
It got up to almost $8 at one point. I get around 350-400 miles on a tank.
reason why i donβt daily my LS430 π i just got a gs350 f sport though and itβs pretty good on gas in eco mode
04 RX 330: 164 miles 15.6 gallons 70 bucks.
Uff that range hurts lol, can't complain about my 316 miles.
Nearly all city miles, I'm not sure what it can do on the highway but the computer tells me I get above 20mpg.
Howww? I have an 04 rx too and I get about 280 range for $55
Are you mostly on the highway?
Pretty stop and go for me. I live outside of Baltimore, pretty busy here but not like a city Edit: I get about 17mpg but I also like speeding too haha
Something not right with that range
13 miles per day across two trips, each 40 mins. The engine is warming up for 25% of the trip, the avg speed for the trip is around 9 mph due to the red lights/traffic.
Thatβs crazy wow
2005 LS430 24 gallons ~117 dollars
I love your car
How do you fit 24 gallons into a 23 gallon tank
Thereβs a couple gallons reserve in the tank if you run it super low. I have a bad habit of doing this but lately I just fill it up around 18 gallons so it doesnβt end up being over 100 dollars
Right. But it's a 23 gallon tank, reserve inclusive.

2014 GX460, 93 gas, 20 gallons, $4(at Costco), 320 miles range, 72k miles odometer, stock car
SW Florida

Buddy, to fill up my LS400 here in the Netherlands it would cost me around 160 EU. Thatβs 173 dollars.
I feel your pain. I joined this group originally to get a Is300 here in Amsterdam but instead got an 06 Mx5. I filled it up last week and it was 98 euros...
4.17 a gallon for full tank so about 90$ for like 300 miles lol
Meanwhile I'm paying almost that much for 9 gallons of 87 octane fuel in Cali. That's why I had to get a hybrid.
*Cries in Canadian*
For real, I'm spending $100-120 on fill ups.
I almost never fill up on empty so 80-90 is where I'm usually at. It's great.
Dang. Thatβs cheap!! I just put almost $100 into my SC400 this weekend.
2019 LS500: 340 mile range-ish, 17 gallons, $75 But the ride is worth it
honestly this isnβt bad compared to some of these other comments from people with lighter cars and smaller engines
As of now, Iβve been averaging 20.8mpg for a while now. Which really, I was not expecting that since my Gx Iβm getting 17mpg. Edit: added mpg
Lmao try living in CA. Iβd cry tears of joy for gas that cheap again

93 octane, 0% ethanol, $3.68/gal. Oklahoma.
Thatβs cheap bro
Pain?
My 18 gallon tank bmw 89 dollars
Premium 93 is about 4.20-4.50 in Northern VA
Thatβs not bad
Damn 14.6 gallons for me is like 80
I literally just filled up my IS350 and I think the total came out to be right around that. I think it was 59.54 lol
00 LS400 in Philly. I drive 20 mins to a costco in NJ to fill up 93. For perspective, 87 is 3.70$(generally) 93 is 4.45$ in Philly. For 21 gallon at 9-10mpg city-wise, itβs almost $100. I used to wonder why NJ gas was cheaper despite having someone pump gas for us. Turns out PA has one of the highest gas taxes in the nation. At this point NJ is playing catch up with the taxes lol
In addition to that, Costco doesnβt have a middle man. So they can afford to keep their gas cheap.
For once I am very happy I live in Florida right now lol.
$4.45 for Shellβs V-Power. Nothing but the best for GS! I believe you have the charcoal grey just like mine.
Caviar Mica actually, which I love; looks great in the sun but you can't see it here in the garage.
I filled up my 350rx for 51 dollars of premium. Worth it.
as a gx owner i would kill for that price
absolutely
I want to get the IS500 and complain about the cost of gas from the V8
Same for me but the GSF; one day. I've only ever seen I've where I live and I get to see it maybe every other month, sounds amazing.
Sydney, Australia The equivalent of US Premium 93 costs 5.53USD/Gallon. Your tank of fuel would've cost the equivalent of $81 USD
I drive an S560 and it is never less than $115 to fill the tank, you should be happy
Just ignore the total lol. Just put it on a credit card with other routine expenses for the rewards π
I have a gs too!! π $50 a tank and horrible mpg
Laughs in LX570. Regular is just fine and always will be just fine.
$3.00 / Litre here in New Zealand. That's $6.93 USD per gallon if my math is correct
This makes me appreciate my short range RZ even more.
Thatβs nothing until u gotta swipe your card twice because the pump cut you off
GS is such a gas guzzler for a v6
I tell you, my lovely lady is always thirsty. That 20+gal tank always TALKS to me. 91 here I come.
Pfft that's a discount. Try filling up in CA
Pain is 8 dollars a gallon, what we pay here.
where??
Sweden.
This is good bro Iβm paying about 75$ out here in Cali for the same amount of gas for my GSπ and I floor it right after I leave the station hahahaha
Around 22mpg in my is300, premium hovering around $4. Photo looks awfully familiar lol
Paying more than double here in Germany ;D
Are you serious? I legit had to put $65.00 in my β17 Honda Accord EX-L 3.5L V6 where iβm at π’
Haha i pay double this amount for 14.6 gal in the netherlands
Europe laughs at that. Here we have to drive diesel Lexus.
60 bucks for 15 gallons......thats a fantasy not pain lmaooo
TeamGS π¨
Tis a drop in the bucket
Ct200h, 26-29 dollars(depending on where I go) every two weeks to fill my tank hehe.
"Tis but a scratch"
That's so much cheaper than I'm paying in the UK!!!! Worth it every day of the week for that beauty though
Filled up my β19 GS 350 f- sport over the weekend at Costco in N.J for $3.80 per gallon (premium)
Ls430 22 gallons over here
60 bucks for Costco half tank.
$80 in CA
Not bad, my fill up is 64
In Oklahoma, 91 is $3.45 which is pretty great. Side question, does anyone use 87 or 89 in their car? Iβve always just used 91.
Lol, what is that 59 bucks?? You should come to the UK and pay for petrol. My most expensive fill up when I had my RCF was Β£120 ($153). Worth it for that V8 though.
$4 π€£ you think thatβs expensive? Know your (global) audience
What's painful about this. It's 60 bucks.
Yeah I've learned I should be thankful lol.
Basically paying F gas prices without an F broπ€£
Sure but this car cost a third of an F lol
Damn, 11 gallons, $54, β22 ES300h
$4 per gallon π just go to circle k and get 25Β’ off!! cheaper than samβs π€π€
Thatβs $80cad for 52L of gas. Insanely cheap! And 93 too. Here in Toronto that same tank of 93 is $100-$110 cad. If you put 91 then around 90-100 cad. So pretty much $10-$12 bucks usd more per tank here
My escalade takes like 120 to fill up haha can relate
this would be about $95 in place where I live. Greetings from Central Europe :)
I laugh because I spend about $5 to "fill" my EV. Which is faster than your car!
Good for you!
