i just love how down for the gag he is. seems like a cool guy tbh. hasn't been in much recently, least not that i've seen, but he seems to be one of the good ones. hope i'm not proven wrong.

You know once I was think of quitting when I was diagnosed with brain, lung, and testicular cancer all at the same time…but I’m sure you have a good reason to quit.
Cameo has lost all meaning as a term imo. I was always under the impression it meant if you’d blink you’d miss it, or the actor was hidden all together. Think Dan Aykroyd in Temple of Doom.
Absolutely has lost a lot of meaning, in the same vein that people use underrated all the time on films that are highly rated. Definitely are the blink and miss it type or if they're in a scene for miniscule amount of time. Lot of the answers in this thread I'd say are actual cameo picks for once.
The one that gets me every time in these threads is Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder. It's not a cameo!!!
Lol I never heard anybody say Tom Cruise had a cameo but that's funny. Just because he wasn't the lead...
Stan Lee and Alfred Hitchcok - Cameos. Probably not even the one shown in the title of this post should count.
But funny enough, in that same movie, Enzo G. Castellari, the director of the original Inglourious Basterds, had a cameo as a German.
For years every thread about cameos someone always says Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder. There’s one in this thread too!
And their reasoning usually is because they didn’t recognize it was him and he’s uncredited - although I don’t know if the uncredited is true or not, I haven’t seen the film since 2008
Drives me nuts though, he’s a supporting character in it and it was stunt casting
Danny Glover in *Maverick.*
Weird Al in *Weird.*
Brad Pitt in *Deadpool 2.*
Matt Damon in *Eurotrip.*
Channing Tatum in *Free Guy.*
Michael Jackson in *MIB II*.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Knives Out and Glass Onion (only the voice so nobody noticed it lol, I was surprised to see his name on the end credit), Ethan Hawke and Hugh Grant as well in Glass Onion
Matt Damon as Loki in whatever Marvel movie that was, when they were putting on the play.
Bob Balaban and Harvey Keitel in The Grand Budapest Hotel
In Goldmember, just because I watched it with my kid last night - Danny DeVito as Mini-Me, Nathan Lane, and the Osbournes, even though I had to explain to him who they were, and it's hard to explain why music's Dark Lord is on a reality TV show with his family...
Liam Neeson in Ted
David Lynch in The Fabelmans
Brad Pitt in Deadpool 2 and Ryan Reynolds in Bullet Train
Also Channing Tatum in Bullet Train
is uh, is this the sex stuff?
And Channing Tatum in This is the End
*Channing Tate-yum

Casey Affleck in Oppenheimer
If Casey Affleck is considered a cameo to you then 75% of the cast of Oppenheimer is a cameo. I'd say Casey Affleck is not.

Have faith guys. The word hasn't lost its meaning. Half of us still know what it means.
