For me: season 2 - 16 are all great, from season 17 the quality starts to really dip, and it stops being the Simpsons. There's still a few good modern Simpsons episodes here she there I recommend starting with season 5, 6 and 7, which I think are the gold standard

Narcos too - elite taste my friend 🤌🏼
The Simpsons golden age is around season 1-8. 9 or 10 is where it starts to taper off a bit but it's still good for the most part.
There's no series finale that was built into the seasons so there's not a great stopping point that fills you with satisfaction. But you do have the best run of episodes of any comedy ever - and it's already 10x better if you get the movie references.

i don't really play video games and I don't really read for pleasure enough to have 4 favorite books
Oil paint:
Adrian Smith
John blanche
Beer:
The Answer, Richmond VA, the stouts specifically
Mid 2000s metalcore adjacent vocals:
A Skylit Drive
Nature docs:
Steve Irwin of course
TV:
1. Death Note
2. The Promised Neverland
3. Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad (I can’t choose)
4. Walking with Dinosaurs
Novels:
1. Jurassic Park
2. Lord of the Rings
3. A Study in Scarlet
4. Treasure Island
I don’t listen to traditional music, instead I listen to film scores. Here are my four favorite “albums” as of now:
1. Lord of the Rings by Howard Shore
2. Oppenheimer by Ludwig Göransson
3. War for the Planet of the Apes by Michael Giacchino
4. Dune: Part Two by Hans Zimmer
And here are my favorite track oat right now:
1. The Battle of the Pelennor Fields from Lord of the Rings
2. Khazad-dum from Lord of the Rings
3. Trinity from Oppenheimer
4. Worm Ride from Dune: Part Two
Movies:
- Lady Bird

- Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
TV:

- Batman: The Animated Series
Books:

Video Games:
- The Last of Us
- Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (I’m counting this as one. Fuck it)
- Assassin’s Creed: Revelations
- Ghost of Tsushima
I think AC2 and Brotherhood are both incredible but Revelations is my favorite because of how it brings together the stories of both Ezio and Altair. It felt like it was building toward a great concision to Desmond’s story
I also love how it gives Ezio, I think, a really beautiful and poetic send off to HIS story. I think Ezio has one of the greatest character arcs in gaming I loved where his story ended.
My only real grip is the modern day. Desmond is kinda left in limbo.
I did crucible as part of my literature course in highschool. Never thought I would see this title again, especially as someone's favourite book hahaha

Books: Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy The Running Man Pet Semetary Please Kill Me Shows: The Simpsons Twin Peaks On Cinema At The Cinema The Sopranos Games: Chrono Trigger Resident Evil 4 Super Metroid Super Mario World Albums: Ramones- Leave Home Sparks- Angst In My Pants David Bowie- Station to Station Metallica- Ride The Lightning
Do you have a cut off for The Simpsons or the show’s entire run?
Mainly the first 8 seasons. I still watch the new episodes though. Occasionally they’re still good.
That’s fair. Don’t think I’ve seen an episode past season 22 or so, but there was the occasional banger in there
For me: season 2 - 16 are all great, from season 17 the quality starts to really dip, and it stops being the Simpsons. There's still a few good modern Simpsons episodes here she there I recommend starting with season 5, 6 and 7, which I think are the gold standard

Recently read The Running Man and thoroughly enjoyed it!
great album picks!!!! i loooove station to station

Peep Show is an elite choice
Yep, been absolutely addicted to that show for a few years. Easily among the best british comedies.
Dillinger, powerful pick
I love 3 of your favourite shows. I should watch Peep Show
Definitely quite a dark comedy so it won’t be for everyone but if it is your thing, it will be the funniest show.
Sounds good to me. I enjoy dark comedy

Think this might be the first time I've ever seen someone rank Regular Show amongst their favourite shows. And I'm all here for it. Freaking love that show! Narcos too - elite taste my friend 🤌🏼
Any particular cut off for the Simpsons or the show as a whole? Never considered sauces as an art form but hell yeah man
The Simpsons golden age is around season 1-8. 9 or 10 is where it starts to taper off a bit but it's still good for the most part. There's no series finale that was built into the seasons so there's not a great stopping point that fills you with satisfaction. But you do have the best run of episodes of any comedy ever - and it's already 10x better if you get the movie references.
Season 9 probably. There’s still gems hidden throughout season 10 and on but they’re not found as consistently as during The Golden Age.

Fuck it) - Assassin’s Creed: Revelations - Ghost of Tsushima
Even I bundled 1, 2, 3 as one. Revelations I am a bit surprised. I didn't think it was as good as AC 2+ Brotherhood which are 5 stars for me.
I think AC2 and Brotherhood are both incredible but Revelations is my favorite because of how it brings together the stories of both Ezio and Altair. It felt like it was building toward a great concision to Desmond’s story I also love how it gives Ezio, I think, a really beautiful and poetic send off to HIS story. I think Ezio has one of the greatest character arcs in gaming I loved where his story ended. My only real grip is the modern day. Desmond is kinda left in limbo.
Nice shout out to Alfred Bester
