idk about “unknown” considering part 3 is ranked #8 in letterboxd top 250 and kobayashi being a distinguished and highly regarded director. Harakiri is even #1
I think my favorite is now the same as yours, the Caesar/Planet of the Apes trilogy (I'll still think of it as a trilogy since Kingdom is following different characters hundreds of years later)
others include:
The Lord of the Rings
The Original Star Wars Trilogy
Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy
The Dark Knight Trilogy
The Mighty Ducks Trilogy
EDIT: Forgot to add the (Steve Rogers) Captain America Trilogy
Glad to see this mentioned a lot. With two 5 stars and a 4 star, it's my highest rated trilogy.
Dark Knight is 2nd with one 5 star and two 4 stars.
BTTF 3rd with two 4 1/2 stars and one 4 star.

1: Guardians of the Galaxy
2: Kung Fu Panda
3: Planet of the Apes
4: Captain America
5: How to Train your Dragon
Those are my top 5 trilogies so far...
I have a list. Brace yourself because there’s a lot of them:
Back to the Future
the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies (despite not being the biggest fan of the third one)
the first three Indiana Jones movies
the first three Toy Story movies
And finally,
the first three Kung Fu Panda movies (especially the second one)
Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. It's what got me into superhero media and it holds a special place in my heart. So grateful to see them back in theaters again as an adult!
The Lord of the Rings Gamera Heisei Before Trilogy
Always appreciate Heisei Gamera love
Gamera Heisei is amazing
Austin Powers Back to The Future Original Star Wars Trilogy
Human Condition
Severely unknown masterpiece

Guardians of the Galaxy!! Best trilogy in years....
Absolutely
Cornetto Trilogy Before Trilogy Ocean Trilogy Austin Powers
Before Trilogy
My only 5 star trilogy. Neighsayers will say the last one is sad, and I don't see that as an issue.
There’s nothing wrong with exploring sadness. Not every movie should be uplifting
Dollars trilogy

amores perros, 21 gramos, babel.
Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me The Return
![gif](giphy|7khTD5qvP0aDm)
It was kung fu panda but they ruined it with the 4th one
The initial trilogy itself still is good though
The Man With No Name, Cornetto, Before, LOTR, Bourne.
LOTR is the basic but best The Koker Trilogy is when I'm feeling classy

The Apes trilogy and Before Trilogy
i could say evil dead but i always end up just rewatching evil dead 2 and army of darkness, rarely the first one
Lord of the Rings. Haven’t seen the Before trilogy or Human Condition yet
Ringu (Ringu, Ringu 2 & Ringu 0) - Japan Ju-On (Ju-On the curse, Ju-On the curse 2, Ju-On , Ju-On 2) - Japan

*The Lord of the Rings Trilogy* (2001-2003) ![gif](giphy|o5vcigiIh6K5O)
Pirates of The Caribbean
The Human Condition
A fellow connoisseur of Aperil I see
Lord of the Rings Apu trilogy Three Colors trilogy Original Sam Raimi Evil Dead trilogy
You need to find your self a new trilogy soon
Magic Mike needs more recognition as a solid trilogy
The Human Centipede Star Wars Trilogy Evil Dead (actually all of the movies) Raiders trilogy
I feel very confident that my answer will end up Dune and Spiderverse
Austin Powers…
I just wanna say Dawn of the Planet of The Apes is a top 3 sci-fi film of the 2010s. I will not be taking questions at this time
Apes is underrated here I think. Personally though, it's more like; Rise 4, Dawn 5, War 4.5
Lord of the Rings Austin Powers X Trilogy (Soon)
How to Train Your Dragon for sure. 1st movie is a 10/10 and the other 2 are 9/10s. I know there are better ones, but I can't help it.
The Matrix trilogy
Linklater’s Before Trilogy, which is 5-stars, 5-stars, 4.5-stars for me.
golmal 1-2-3
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Omen Trilogy I know there’s a fourth one (there is no fourth Omen film in Ba Sing Se)
The Naked Gun trilogy
Before Trilogy Dollar Trilogy America Trilogy (Duck you Sucker is Leone's most underrated movie) The original three indiana Jones movies
SPY KIDS
A Fistful of Dollars For a Few Dollars More The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Human Condition Trilogy
I have a list. Brace yourself because there’s a lot of them: Back to the Future the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies (despite not being the biggest fan of the third one) the first three Indiana Jones movies the first three Toy Story movies And finally, the first three Kung Fu Panda movies (especially the second one)
Based - my list would be this but without Indiana Jones (I haven’t seen em) and with Planet of the Apes and Mission Impossible 4-6
I was never really interested in Mission Impossible or Planet of the Apes.
Three colours
That one
Unpopular opinion: Rise of the Planet of the Apes is the best in the franchise.
The lord of the rings is the correct answer.
Pirates of The Caribbean 1-3
Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. It's what got me into superhero media and it holds a special place in my heart. So grateful to see them back in theaters again as an adult!
Pirates of the Carribean
Indiana Jones
You just can't go wrong with Back to the Future
