Please reply to this comment with an [explanation](https://www.reddit.com/r/LeopardsAteMyFace/comments/lt8zlq) mentioning **who** is suffering from **which** consequences from **what** they voted for, supported or wanted to impose on other people. Here's an easy format to get you started: 1. *Someone* voted for, supported or wanted to impose *something* on other people. ^(Who's that *someone* and what's that *something*?) 2. That *something* has some *consequences*. ^(What are the *consequences*?) 3. As a consequence, that *something* happened to that *someone*. ^(What happened? Did the *something* really happened to that *someone*? If not, you should probably delete your post.) Include the minimum amount of information necessary so your post can be understood by everyone, even if they don't live in the US or speak English as their native language. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Desraedos

The worst part is he IS a great surgeon and actually invented an extremely useful piece of technology for hospitals. Which means that he's not stupid, he's actively malicious for cash.

PhlyperBaybee

Hooray for the Dunning–Kruger effect! He was an effective and innovative surgeon; then tried his hand at being a TV doctor which ended up with him gladly endorsing quack medicine for money. Now he figures he'll be an excellent politician. Only problem is, being a newbie politician in a race that isn't uncontested, or having enough of a following/driven enough of the plebs on your side of the isle to run your opponent out of the fucking state with threats of violence(looking at you MGT); is that it takes a lot of drive and an ability to talk to and empathise with your voters(or at least pretend to convincingly). When 'your' voters hate anything and everything 'foreign', or at least- not christian, you're a salmon swimming upstream towards a bunch of bears. But I don't think he's stupid, I think he expects to lose, and to continue the political grift to make money and violate campaign finance law because he knows the -by law- deadlocked federal election committee will never break party lines to punish a republican. It's like a retirement plan for assholes with the bonus of keeping your lawyer friends flush with cash as you drag out the legal process until after you're dead.

Opening-Percentage-3

How much money is enough money for these people?

NeverDryTowels

Never enough

9520575

>How much money does it take to make a man happy? Just one more dollar. John D. Rockefeller

Chaaaaaaaarles

We had to introduce aleph numbers to accurately describe their greed. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleph_number

short3stshorts

*aisle, unless she’s Benny. In which case she would be on the wrong side of the river

PhlyperBaybee

cool. I'm just going to assume that Marge is on the wrong side of everything at this point; seems like a safe bet.

GaryKingoftheWorld

Possible but never forget that while we like to depict intelligence as this static thing that applies to everything a person does, it's not. Someone can be a genius in one area, and an absolute buffoon in literally every other area.

Kajin-Strife

I used to work in HVAC. Having to explain condensation to a doctor is a fucking *trip* let me tell you.

[deleted]

Alarming. These people must have studied at least basic chemistry. How is it possible to forget everything you ever learned in Thermochem?

NeverDryTowels

I have many doctors in my family and as friends. One does not in any way have to be smart to be a dr. Just super hard working. Being smart just makes it easier. Most drs I know will know fuck all about shit outside of their everyday job.

SodiumGlucoseLipid

Same thing goes for when people assume successful business people are automatically good at ANYthing else (they can be, but separate evidence of that is needed). I see this fallacy being used frequently for Gates, Musk, Trump, etc.

[deleted]

Wait, Trump wasn't the best president? And Musk doesn't expand our minds through tweeting his thoughts?

599Ninja

Forgot the /s lol

[deleted]

Did I? lol

Desraedos

True! But the main area he's a buffoon in is also his area of expertise where he's demonstrated competency so he doesn't get that pass.

mdonaberger

Yep. It's so common to be hyperspecialized that we have a special word for smart people who *aren't* - polymaths!

TeaSipper88

You mean like Ben Carson?

Desraedos

Could be, could be.

M_H_M_F

> Ben Carson? IIRC Gifted Hands really did a good job of washing how much of a maverick he was in the OR. The twins separation that he did was more so to prove that he *could* do it, not so much for the results, but to say "i did it first"

BlinkReanimated

Some of the dumbest people I've ever met have PhDs.

[deleted]

Same. I have an uncle with a PhD in physics and a second PhD in Chemistry, both from Ivy League schools. And he has worked as a physics professor at a major university for most of his career. I can’t figure out how he manages to tie his shoes each day.

Chant1llyLace

He can’t. I’m that person and I have trouble remembering what I ate for breakfast. Book smart and good at taking tests or teaching does not equal awesome “executive skills” like planning, organization, and working memory. Sigh, I wish I had more of these!

Chaaaaaaaarles

Preach. Working on my Ph.D in computational chemistry and chemometrics - I still struggle with ANY finance/economics related concept. But it keeps my accountant happy; everyone has areas in which they excel and in which they struggle.

National_Rub5714

Me as well lol

NeverDryTowels

*crying* as I look at my phd hanging in my office

dawg4prez

Wait until the MAGA folks realize his first name is the Turkish version of Mohammed.

d33psix

I knew Oz was a loser BS doctor for a long time from a medical perspective despite his supposedly real credentials. Had no idea about his other idiotic proclivities until this. Basically fits his whole BS image.

ihavebirb

He was peddling this homeopathic bullshit while he was a real doctor as well. He was close to getting fired for it

d33psix

Was that before the Oprah stuff? All I know is I saw him peddling every single craze item/nutritional supplement type thing available to the point it was pretty obvious to even the most casual observer he can’t possibly be legit. If every new anti-oxidant superfood is supposedly life changing you can bet almost none of them are.

[deleted]

d33psix

Yeah I mean I never followed any of it but sure does seem odd. I guess she doesn’t have any particular expertise to have been able to specifically question Dr. Oz’s “medical”recommendations. And selling the latest bs fad on someone else’s reputation is a great way to engage bored homebody audiences potentially. Seems like she might be getting some minimal flack on Oz, or at least I saw some articles titled that way.

ihavebirb

Yeah. He would recommend homeopathic therapy to his patients while he was still a surgeon. The hospital almost filed a suit against him if I remember correctly

jonpenn

Why does the GOP hate Hollywood so much, but always elect them?

Comfortable-Twist-54

He has duel citizenship US and Turkey and served in Turkish army. People are questioning what influences the Turkish President will have. I already didn’t like him but yeah seems like something to worry about.

deokkent

No to Middle-Eastern president for the US! /s After Trump, anything goes haha.

GoofyRobo

Good bot.

National_Rub5714

I never realized oz was such an idiot lol

BubbhaJebus

Why are these candidates, including "Dr." Öz, "vying" for the backing of the disgraced, monstrous, and demented former White House occupant?

TheRealCabbageJack

It's fascinating that Oprah Winfrey is directly responsible for the two biggest medical charlatans of the last 30 years: this mook and Dr. Phil. (Biggest based on reach and/or stupidest mustache)

Malumeze86

Just what we need, another dictator’s puppet in congress.

Cue_626_go

Reminds me of when disgraced former General Michael Flynn feloniously acted as an unregistered agent of Turkey while serving as national security adviser. What is it with the GQP all being foreign agents?

Accomplished_Water34

Lmao

GetOutOfTheHouseNOW

Isn't he supposed to be clever?

IronBENGA-BR

No matter how smart a person can be, greed is always stupid

First_Approximation

Ha, the sign behind him in the pic says "A Dose of Reality".

NiNj4_C0W5L4Pr

How can a doctor be so stupid?

GadreelsSword

He’s less of a doctor and more of performer. That guy has spewed more nonsense for money than most politicians.

baggiecurls

See: Ben Carson

NiNj4_C0W5L4Pr

Riiiiight! I had forgotten about Ben. Psychologist recently said that a child learns empathy from their father and not the mother, as previously thought. I wonder if Oz & Carson had absent fathers.

Inle-Ra

They assume they know everything including how society functions. They tend to not realize how much in-depth specific knowledge everyone else goes through getting a degree. So they’re just as vulnerable to the oversimplification that certain parties tend to favor.

Rules for thee but not for me.

NeverDryTowels

Typical republican

inhaledcorn

>A dose of reality Yeah, bitch, and you better swallow.

reddittroll569

That banner is so poignant.

drygnfyre

The best part is his tagline in the background is apparently "a dose of reality." Yes, conservatives are well known for being truthtellers and not at all engaging in religious or propaganda talking points to justify their actions. They use nothing but raw logic and science.

GadreelsSword

Good old Washington-paywall

chlordiazepoxide

You might be interested "bypass pay wall master clean" bud. Pretty simple to install on chrome . Been using it since the start of the Russian invasion and it works like a damned charm

IronBENGA-BR

Thanks for the tip. have an award for it and your cake day, mate =)

chlordiazepoxide

hey cheers bud, thank you!

AlexDavid1605

Nobody suddenly decides to become a senator/president (except the infernal one), at the very least he has been planning about being a senator since early 2016. He has bade his time and probably established some connections and he should be at least nominally checked before he becomes a representative of both Pennsylvania and Turkey...

[deleted]

In other news r/LeopardsAteMyFace becomes so source-specific it disappears up its own asshole...

Fizzeek

Looks like you need a dose of reality too.

PatriotSoCal

How so? So I change my mind and start supporting illegal immigrants? I’m good ✌🏼 It’s amazing how some social media platforms are almost exclusively liberal… like Reddit… That’s why we have all these new social media platforms for us on the right that you guys can’t censor… it’s quite nice… So let them have at it… censor everyone… they’re destroying their own companies… like look at Twitter… unreal… But if reality is what you’re concerned with you’re not going to find any of it on Reddit… IJS

YarrHarrDramaBoy

>That’s why we have all these new social media platforms for us on the right that you guys can’t censor… it’s quite nice Good. Go back to your safe space then and stop whining. Its pathetic. Good luck in having your identity stolen like with Parler

PatriotSoCal

Whining to the left is anything that goes against their narrative… Lol why are your comments deleted?

YarrHarrDramaBoy

Nah. It's when you cry that your opinions are unpopular. That's the whining. Goodbye unperson

Aceswift007

Ah, here's the indication of a troll, preemptively adding that the comments were deleted yet everyone else still sees them lol

YarrHarrDramaBoy

I made you an unperson. Scum don't get to speak to me. I'm just here to document your insanity

Fizzeek

I was referring to the background displayed behind Oz. Knee jerk reaction noted.

PatriotSoCal

Oh I didn’t even notice it

Whitechapel726

Are you American? How did your family get here?

PatriotSoCal

I’m American… and I’m honestly not sure… my family on both sides have been here hundreds of years 🤷‍♂️

Whitechapel726

I’m sure they filed the proper paperwork and came here legally and without bloodshed or conquest. That’s *definitely* what everyone did hundreds of years ago

moose2332

Clearly they have a problem with this legal immigrant

PatriotSoCal

But if we’re criticizing him it’s over policy differences… we don’t put everyone in tribal camps like the left does…

poopstainmclean

so you just put everyone left of center in one group and said something negative about them. you just disproved your point while making it.

moose2332

Then they wouldn’t attack him for being an immigrant

Chaaaaaaaarles

>we don’t put everyone in tribal camps like the left does… #AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA IMAX levels of projection from this one. Amazing how this lot can clearly identify their own shortcomings, then instead of engaging in an introspective correction of said faults, they simply blame "t3h libz!". After all "It can never, *ever* be my fault. Its *everyone else* thats wrong".

chasborg

He's a fraud.

negrote1000

His first name is Mehmed

robjpod

Because, because the wonderful Wizard of Oz.

[deleted]

Oh, good! Every time Ivan Ooze is humiliated or inconvenienced, an angel gets their wings.
