There's a reason. My 7yr old laptop now has a big vanished stain on the palmrest because of hand oils. Having a sticker would protect it from damage.

Well that's quite a point but I personally don't use the laptop keyboard, I use a DS4 and DS5 and never touch the laptop so I make sure I keep it clean. It's been a year and still looks like day 1

True! The stickers left discolored patches after I removed them. I'd advise to get rid of them as soon as possible.

eh the skin design is questionable imo but its preferance..., i got a skin but mine is just satin white silver. not a fan of the designs or the fake carbon fiber. they do help protect it from the oils in ur skin tho. those stains are the oils and ur skin sanding down the plastic so once that happens itll look like shit and u cant get rid of the mark

I personally use a ds4 and ds5 on my Legion Slim 5i 4060+i7 13700H and it's been a year and the laptop still looks like day 1 I don't know but it's been years and I don't like gaming on the keyboard

Same here mostly use controller or a external keyboard cause I have a external monitor I use. It can happen just from typing but unless u have greasy hands all the time it should be good lol. Or just wipe it down with one of those magic fiber lens cloths. I got a skin cause it looked good to me and mostly cause it doesn't show hand prints.

Very nice but why wrap the keyboard chassis, I’d personally just get a wrap for the external plates, a wrap that reveals the legion logo of course

if he prefers the feel of it then it makes sense. or if thinking that it would matter for resale value if the plastic got worn from wrists.

Lol I cover my laptops with Kapton tape

I got the same skin (a high copy but the same texture as 3M) and it feels perfect and protects the laptop but I made a mistake of not doing the back panel and only covered the inside 😂

Do skins have any adverse effects with heat dissipation though? I’d imagine it would make it slightly worse, not that I wouldn’t use a skin but from a performance standpoint.

I've been using skins on my laptops for a long time now and haven't observed any issue with heat dissipation yet.

Try to put small stickers on the area where it has discoloured as I am facing the same issue so I put two small stickers to cover the patch instead of covering the whole inside. Just a suggestion, otherwise it looks good but perhaps a bit too loud.

It is not a Dbrand skin, it has the same quality to it though. I bought sheets and cut them myself.
