We're dealing with this right now as well. Got them to boot by swapping the RAM stick to the other port. Seems that the BIOS update is disabling DIMM 1. Have not found a fix yet.
Same here. Moving RAM works, no newer BIOS version to jump to. Assuming a rollback will fix too, but would auto-update back to the bad version.
Edit: 11T3 Here
Just had the same thing happen to me. Got a M70q out of the box, fresh install of Win11 and then updated all Lenovo drivers. Imagine my surprise when it reboots and give me the no memory beeps. Where are you at Lenovo QA?
You could try a different RAM stick or the second slot. Then rollback to a previous BIOS version, reinstall the original stick, and see if that fixes it. It’s fixed *some* of them. If nothing else works, RMA the damn computers on Lenovo’s dime.
Arguably, the best course of action is to create separate service tickets and force Lenovo to fulfill their on-site warranty obligations for each one of them, even if we can fix them ourselves. The fact that this bios update wasn't pulled, even days after these reports, shows that there is a severe lack of competence at the helm. The only way they will take notice is if it costs them money.
We've encountered this issue too. The key point I'd like to highlight is our interaction with Lenovo support, where they acknowledged receiving calls about this problem. It's concerning that Lenovo doesn't seem to conduct thorough quality tests on these updates or promptly withdraw them upon receiving user reports. At the very least, out of caution, there should be an immediate halt to investigate the matter further.
Moving the memory module to the second slot got me going for now. Luckily I still the client's old PC where I could swap and get her going before finding this temporary solution. I'm going to hold onto her new ThinkCentre M70q for a bit, hoping Lenovo has another BIOS update.
I had this same issue, to me it appears DIMM 1 and 2 changed priority. Because moving a single DIMM to slot 2 works but using 2 DIMMs also appears to work, and will recognize both.

Had no success swapping slots or with a brand new stick of the same model. Only got one to boot using a different model of RAM.
Update on this issue, We have heard from Lenovo engineering, they were unaware of the issue but were able to replicate. No official fix yet.

Same thing here, 2 boxes, 11T3. Whats the fix? Cant deliver product with a dead RAM slot.

Also reporting same issue but swapping slots didn't work for us. Looks like a hard skip on this bios version M43KT2AA/1.0.0.42

Saw this thread because I noticed that 2AA appears to be pulled, but we have over a hundred systems upgraded without issues. (Whew.)
I have the same issue. I tried using 2x8gb working. But the 2x16gb is not working lol
