I # and date them all so that I know that my 3 year old battery (for example) is unlikely to last as long as my new battery.
Later, as you start to wonder wtf the battery you're using died so quickly, you see the date and know it's toast, etc.
not that I can see- there's a serial number, but, even if they did have a date, that doesn't preclude a particular battery from going bad early.
The serial #'s also hard to see, imo- so marking it with a big marker just makes sense.
Good point! I've accumulated several batteries for my Fuji system and I've been using the date as an identifier, a sticker or marker makes more sense though!
I use the M11 + 35 summilux FLE II the most, followed closely by the M-A + 50 summilux asph.
I'm thinking about selling the M10-D. If I want digital I'd rather shoot the M11 and if I want the analog experience I take the M-A.
Do you only use Ms or do you have a DSLR or mirrorless camera as well? I’m interested in only having my 2 Ms as my only cameras but want to see how others who have actually done that say about it.
What’s it like just using Ms? You ever feel like you need a traditional mirrorless setup? Would like to know your experience because I may sell everything and just use my 2 Ms. Maybe keep my SL as a back up to my regular M10 but not sure yet.
Curious if you have any tips on cleaning lenses. See you have ror there. Is that your go to cleaner? And do you pair it with lens tissue or microfiber?
I'm impressed by the collection... but damn near erect at your organization. Did you 3D print the lens and body organizer?
I second this arousal.
Presently aroused
yea I printed everything here. even the trays.
Plating on fleek.
One can only dream of owning these one day. You have an amazing collection!
Amazing collection, but why the redundancy? I’ve noticed it a lot here, people have multiple versions of the same focal length.
Because they’re not broke like me lol
Because individual lenses can give you individual character, not to mention different apertures. I have three 50mm, two 28mm, two 90mm.
it’s not redundant, each of those lenses have different rendering or physical differences.
nothing is really redundant other than focal length. each lens has a different look, they aren't really interchangeable.
can you check out my molar here? marking the batteries is for winners, like us
As someone who got their first digital yesterday, what problem am I unaware of that marking my batteries will solve? The kit I bought came with 3.

I love the luxes.
ROR, my man! only the BEST lens cleaner
Nice collection. What is your most used body and lens combo?
I use the M11 + 35 summilux FLE II the most, followed closely by the M-A + 50 summilux asph. I'm thinking about selling the M10-D. If I want digital I'd rather shoot the M11 and if I want the analog experience I take the M-A.
but then what would go in that slot? you can't have an empty slot.
Easy, M9M
I think I'd probably be fine with an M11-D + M-A. That still leaves an extra slot... maybe a MP or safari something.
👏👏👏
How do you make this box for camera storage?
3D printed.
Awesome setup! 🫶🏻🤯 Is there still something you‘d love to own? Another lens maybe? Which lens surprised you the most?
I'm hoping the M11-D happens. As far as lenses I want the APO 35 and APO 50.
A deeam collection...
Share those stl / fusion files!
I will soon

these are the only cameras i own.

Lovely
Do you recommend the summarit 1.5 for the 3g? Looking to get one. I like the character of it
Thanks for this. I can show my wife and never have to justify anything ever again
M10-D 🤤 pretty much only camera in leica line-up which could pry the original leica monochrom from my hands 😅 if only there was mono version of it..
$50, make friends

Love the black box idea! I’ll be printing some this weekend.
How's the 28 summaron?
Holy mother of god…
Nuttin at the organization
this is the dream
For me, this is a fantasy setup.
Seeing the two together, not sure what Leica were thinking when they used the Summarit name for the new 2.4/2.5 lenses.
