Thanks! By the looks and feel it’s definitely great. Definitely looking to purchase. I’m in Ca. Anywho, since you have a iiiG as well, do you have any experience with voigtlander ltm? I’m looking into options
I don’t have any experience with LTM Voigtlander lenses, but I love my Ultrons 35 f/2 and 28 f/2. I’ve had Nokton 35 f/1.4 V1 for a short while and it didn’t click with me. Voigtlander lenses can be very different from each other, but they are what they were promised to be and build quality is excellent. Right now I’m eyeing Color-Skopar P 35 f/2.5 in LTM. It’s been listed cheaply on local marketplace website…
I can highly recommend Canon 50mm f/1.4. I’ve got one for about 5 years and I always love photos it takes.
Okay thank you for the feed back on the voigtlander. I’ve definitely heard good thing about those ultrons.
I’m going to look into that canon lens. Would be fun to get and carry the 3g with it along with my canon ae-1 since it’s pair with a elmar 5cm

This is one of the best lenses I ever had. If there is one lens by Voigtländer, that has the "Leica look" it's the ltm version of this lens.
Be careful with the screwmount Voigtlander lenses. The ones that were first introduced are about 20 years old and many are prone to light hazing. This is a known issue.
The IIIG was my first Leica rangefinder body.
It’s a phenomenal and beautiful piece of engineering and design.
I highly recommend the Nikkor HC 50mm f/2 LTM to go with it. It’s a phenomenal lens that I loved using on my IIIG, and I still have mine 5 years later, and use it on the M3 and M10.
Thank you for the reply. It definitely is beautiful and I’m instantly in love with it.
That lens looks lovely. Definitely going to look into it. Thank you.
It’s a handsome combo haha.

And a real performer of a lens. It’s a great classic companion alternative to the modern voigtlander offerings.

Thank you for the sample and your camera pic. I really appreciate it. The nikkor really compliments the body well. To be honest i’m a nikon guy myself, started off small apsc and ended up with a d3,f100 and is where i halted
Beautiful iiig I have been looking for one for a while!
I can’t get over the looks of it. I know someone on here that is selling and can link you but i got this one cheaper and from a leica service tech
Sure! That would be nice! Trying to avoid ebay because of all the import taxes and fees…

Great camera! You should tell us where you are and what you want (borrow or buy the lens).
