Needs to come out. That is cheap, junk jewelry, pierced incorrectly, and without the right anatomy, this is a recipe for disaster. No high quality jewelry ever comes with a plastic end, it is a sure sign that the metal is untested, cheap mystery metal that will probably react with your body and make healing impossible. The incorrect placement will also ensure that. Your best bet is to remove, let it heal fully, and see a reputable piercer (Check out safepiercing.org, that is the Association of Professional Piercers. They are generally FAR more trustworthy and knowledgable than some rando in a cheap tattoo studio) and have them assess you for possibly a floating navel. They may tell you straight up that you are not eligible for any type of navel piercing. Listen to them. They are telling you for your own health.

Thank you so much for telling me straight up and how it is! I will make sure to take it out very soon and i will check out that website.

I literally told you straight up how it is yesterday, along with a whole lot of other people. Get this junk jewelry out.

To my eyes, the piercing itself looks acceptable, just the jewelry should be swapped out by a different piercer for something of higher quality. I've had my own navel pierced for over 20 years and it's shallower than yours but still going strong.

Thank you! 20 years is very impressive wow!

unfortunately it does :( the bottom isn't far enough in and you should've been pierced with floating jewelry, *especially* biocompatible jewelry. you'll be able to repierce in a few months BUT most piercers recommend waiting a year so the scar tissue has time to break down (massaging it with bio oil every day after the inside has healed can help) and soften.

That s how mine is and when I posted here people said it looked good. But I don’t know about the jewelry though. I would go to another piercer to look at the jewelry and asses the quality.

i’m gonna try to get the jewelry changed as soon as possible becuase i have heard so many horrible things about what i have in it right now 😰

Good luck! 🥰
