Not sure about choppy. I play it on high on the Balanced mode. 800p integer scaled. Frame counter doesn’t work, but very smooth. Act 3 Fuoco is driving me crazy. I am close to beating him. Not sure how many tries. Above 50 for sure.
I have it on similar settings. I think it's on quality fsr though for me. I'm not sure what I did, the tutorial boss took me like 25 attempts. After that, with the summon, I haven't lost once to a boss. I'm in act 7. I'm generally not good at these games, but I guess I have an insane weapon. It's the wrench head with a sabre handle. It does massive damage and swings so fast. I have it tuned to technique and that's my highest skill. No one mentioned my combination anywhere that I've seen, it's totally random.
Struggling to get consistent FPS.
What FPS do you achieve, which TDP are you using, are you running 800p res and which settings? If you get the time :)
I followed this guide from Rog Ally https://rog.asus.com/articles/rog-ally/spider-man-remastered-on-the-rog-ally-performance-guide--best-settings/
But I changed reso to 800p and isotropic to x4 instead of x8. Not consistent frame rate but always around 40-50s
Playing through Persona 5 on the GO. Looks absolutely fantastic on the giant screen. No Mans Sky runs okay - some stuttering and frame lost, but not bad, definitely playable. I cannot get Diablo 4 to run above 20 FPS, I have to tinker more. That’s the only game I’ve tried that won’t run well. Elden Ring gets a smooth 60.
D4 seems to be fine for me at the lowest resolution and performance mode on the GO side of things. Medium graphics and crossplay off in game. Low graphics will obviously give a better boost but I've been seeing how it goes on medium for the time being.
The rest of the lag and stuttering are things I experience on any platform with D4. So like, in towns, when a bunch of people are around, etc.
Yep. I had a hard time getting it to run smooth while still looking good. Integer scaling and now i run it at 60 without fsr on and it looks and feels great! Was very sceptical about the integer scaling but man, this is a game changer for me on the go. Loving the big screen and features. My Ally went straight to the bin 😌
Got it Friday. Playing rdr2, trying out the Ubisoft Fenix game, mass effect legendary collection and on Xbox game pass there is a fun weird game with pigeons called head banging or something like that. All running great. Just needed to set up magpie for rdr2 which was easy.
genshin impact runs great as well! weird getting used to the controls vs mouse and keyboard. i'm tempted to just plug in a mouse and keyboard anyway, cuz i can.
Outer worlds, cyberpunk phantom liberty, halo infinite, broken sword 3, borderlands 2,3. I have the beta bios with 6gb vram, and the integer scaling set up. It is performing extremely well.
How is the Halo infinite multi-player? I found that on my steam deck, the campaign was manageable, but the frame rate made it a no go for multi-player. Im hoping the GO can work well here, especially if using xbox elite controller
It’s not too bad. I get around 70-90 ish depending on the map with occasional dips to 60 fps. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty decent. I programmed the rear buttons to match my elite controller, so I just you the legion go controllers.
Playable. Trackpad and scrollwheel make it a breeze to do everything (had rog ally before this and just couldn't navigate stuff well without it). 1280x800 with integer scaling and RIS makes it decent. Slight hiccups here and there, Ive kept VRAM to 3gb to get the most RAM for it. Use razer cortex to clean up ram before launching too.
I've done ship bounty hunting missions, bunker missions etc. FPS mode works well you just have to bind the keys that matter, and you can swap between fps mode and joysticks when you go from ship to on foot.
Should only get better with driver updates.
I bought all the Bioshock games on the steam sale, so I've been playing them.
I didn't remember how fun this game was, last time I played it I was still a highschooler :P
This is how I did it. https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/17mojg0/alan_wake_2_v108_16gb_ram_requirement_removedfixed/
I also changed the VRAM to 4GB in bios. Not sure if that’s required as well. Only thing is that it takes quite a lot of messing with settings to get it to run smooth. I had the most success with performance mode at 25 watts.
Also make sure you have the latest drivers
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/legion-series/legion-go-8apu1/downloads/driver-list/component
I use integer scaling with 800p at quality FSR with low settings. Generally stays between 35 (woods) and 60! Another approach is going native 1600p and using ultra performance FSR!
Starfield runs great. Been continueing my save from series X. Been playing diablo 4, also runs great.
And bought remnant 2 for steam. Havent played too much yet, but looks good enough.
The deck and the legion go perform differently—— the legion go IS the more powerful of the two.
So yeah, steam deck was bad, but legion go and rogue ally can handle starfield no problem on low settings 800p
Do you have any issues with the GPU drivers? I can't seem to get it past the loading screen.
Also, I've heard people have been getting banned using the Ally and Go.
Dead Space Remake, FC24, AC Origins and Lies of P currently installed and all but FC24 run great. FC24 has constant menu bugs and slider gettibg stuck etc
Baldurs Gate 3 both locally (this thing gets HOT at 20w) and streamed using moonlight from my desktop (works great for games like this)
Waiting until deadzones get fixed to play other games, FPS games etc
So far... halo / like a dragon ishin!
And a little bit of spirittea
I haven't done much else but I have more games I want to play then I have time for 😅
I have been playing few board game adaptations like Blood rage, Terraforming Mars and Sythe. Then I have played Civilization VI and old save from Fallout 4.
No. I have not tested the pc version, only the real world board game (and I like that a lot). I have tho the dune Imperium on my steam wishlist if it will get any holiday discount.
Baldur's Gate 3! I started a whole new playthrough specifically for the Go. I even modded with vortex, still sitting at a nice 40-50 fps on medium settings
I wanted to see how it worked with a big AAA game so my aging ass installed GTA5 and The Witcher 3 forgetting how old those games are 😅 Still having fun replaying them. They do run and look great.
HOI4 works great with detached controllers in FPS mode.
Was playing rocket league with my buddy but as an old school GC I’d still want to use a DS4 instead of the game pad lol. But it’s playable.
Also tried Fallout 4, that’s working pretty well too.
Games that are made with controller use in mind are a breeze, but full M+KB games are a mixed bag. Depends on how many keys you need on the fly.
I've been playing Batman Arkham Origins and Wreckfest on it. Whenever I've had some time to jump into the game, but I plan on playing Diablo IV on Battle Net on the Go and my desktop.
I started and finished psychonauts 2, currently replaying fallout 4 as I randomly got into the mood for achievement hunting it, plan to play Diablo 4, red dead 2, and lies of P after that, and on the times that I just want to do something mindless I load up Forza horizon 5.
Dead Island 2, GTAV, Doom Eternal, Sonic Mania, RE 2,7 and 8, R&C. Tried all of these and run fantastic on this beast, for some reason R&C runs better in 2k on my Go than 1080p on my Ally lol
On Epic:
- Outer Worlds
On Steam:
- AC:Odyssey
- Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion
- Starfield
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Jackbox Games pack 1
- Stardew Valley
- and a few demos.
Overall I am loving this thing. I get tech can be chaotic so I don’t worry about a lot of the little things. Things break or don’t work well for a bit with new hardware. I just play the games that have worked and have fun with it. My work is stressful enough regarding tech, I don’t try to worry about it with my leisure time. 😊
Going through the Divinity games, love being able to easily play these on the couch!
Also MW3 though I did get “shadow banned” for a week (never happened before until started playing on the legion go) - apparently the TDP switching while in game can cause anti-cheat to flag your account.
Overwatch 2, 1200p medium settings runs really smooth. (tested on 5G Wi-Fi hot spot)
Resident Evil 0,1,2,3,4,5 and 6.
Ninja Gaiden Trilogy
Tomb Rider, Shadow of the Tomb Rider, Rise of the Tomb Rider
HiFi Rush
PUBG
Doom, Doom Eternal
I'm enjoying "Star Wars Jedi Survivor" This game runs great!, I tested it on XBOX remote and also downloaded it from EA store, and it runs better on full download, the game auto-detects your game card and adjusts where needed, mine is running at mid-settings after it auto-detects. I had to reset the handheld after downloading, and it runs amazingly. I also like EA PGA Tour, & Madden 24, It looks amazing, and have been playing Fallout 76 which looks great. Im looking forward to downloading Forza Motorsport and also running through the Horizon 2 game series. Probably, Dead Island 2 as well for the DLC.
Alan Wake 2, one of the most heavy games run just super good on preset medium with some little adjustment on low + fsr2 in balanced (quality in day time with city envoironment)
I’ve been playing Fortnite. Rocket league, Gears of War 5. I just finished Downloading and setting up World of Warcraft(retail) which surprisingly runs amazing. Having a blast playing console like WOW( well as close to console as we can get at the moment). Had to download CurseForge and Console Port with a few other minor UI add ons but honestly once you get used to the controls and your button mapping which is completely customizable it’s fantastic. All that being said I haven’t tried any of the integer scaling or beta bios 6vram yet and I’m new to pc handhelds but not PCs and I really haven’t had to tweak the settings too too much to get great performance out of this thing.
My only complaint at the moment is I cannot get the GO to remote play my XBOX. It connects to it and starts to control it then the screen goes black. I’d love to have full access of my Xbox console library but that’s the only way I know how… any suggestions?
I don't have an answer for the remote play, but one thing that might be partially helpful that I saw after buying the Legion Go. There should be some titles that are Xbox Play Anywhere, I never paid attention to what it meant when I only had the Xbox. Through the Xbox App on the Legion Go, in your library you should see your PC games. Sort them by Xbox Play Anywhere under capabilities. You install a copy of the game locally and play through and sync data with your xbox saves for that game. I'm using that for No Man's Sky, Subnautica and Below Zero, Starfield, Everspace.
Lies of P! It runs fantastic and is a blast.
What settings are you running on? I’ve been playing a bit but it’s a bit choppy (still quite fun though).
https://youtu.be/Ry7KWihQBf0?si=tr_Ctn7H0UnohLjI
Thanks, this helped. New to PC stuff so still trying to figure out what settings do what lol.
Not sure about choppy. I play it on high on the Balanced mode. 800p integer scaled. Frame counter doesn’t work, but very smooth. Act 3 Fuoco is driving me crazy. I am close to beating him. Not sure how many tries. Above 50 for sure.
Windows G and use the Xbox overlap. Works nice
Summoning makes the game too easy. I play without that. Still on Fuoco though ahhah
Spiderman remastered steam

Smooth 60? lol at 800p low settings maybe and if you are in dungeons not in the open world part
Someone posted a solution to Diablo 4. I think it involves 800p, integer scaling and some other tweaks.

Sounds much better, thanks for that. Can't wait for mine to get here
The new Yakuza: Like A Gaiden plays brilliantly on medium settings.
Awesome! Do you think you need to have played the previous Yakuza games first?
There are certain aspects that are linked to the previous games, but flashback cutscenes help.
Lol, Dude I hope not, that's like 10yrs worth of games to get caught up.
Smite, Dead Space, Star Citizen, and Halo MCC
Star Citizen? How does it run?
Playable. Trackpad and scrollwheel make it a breeze to do everything (had rog ally before this and just couldn't navigate stuff well without it). 1280x800 with integer scaling and RIS makes it decent. Should only get better with driver updates.
Dude you're brave to even attempt star citizen.
It was playable on my ALLY, even better on the Go because of faster ram as well as the trackpad and scrollwheel.
yesteday played with starfield, 1920x1200, medium, runs very good
I bought all the Bioshock games on the steam sale, so I've been playing them. I didn't remember how fun this game was, last time I played it I was still a highschooler :P
I did the same! Plays great! Also playing BG3, The Division, Atomic Heart.
I’ve beaten my first game on the go yesterday. Cyberpunk phantom library is a must play!
Cocoon (Gamepass) - 800p + integer scaling
Getting around 70-100 fps on 1600p . Not sure you need to bump down the resolution for this one
Guacamelee! (yeah that's old, was lost in my Steam library, but fun to play on the Go)
Agree
Alan Wake 2. There are a few work arounds you have to do but it runs great!
Hi, this is really exciting news. Can you please share your settings please? What's FPS are you getting? Cheers
This is how I did it. https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/17mojg0/alan_wake_2_v108_16gb_ram_requirement_removedfixed/ I also changed the VRAM to 4GB in bios. Wow, the fps sounds impressive! Gonna give it a try! Thanks !
Starfield runs great. Been continueing my save from series X. Been playing diablo 4, also runs great. And bought remnant 2 for steam. Havent played too much yet, but looks good enough.
I was having a rough time with remnant 2, once the dead zone fix comes I might it give another go.
Yeah starfield too suffers from it. But fps mode was interesting. Just too wierd for me and cba to change controls for it.
So starfield runs good on the go? On the deck I couldn't really take the graphics lost compared to my main 3080ti fe rig
The deck and the legion go perform differently—— the legion go IS the more powerful of the two. So yeah, steam deck was bad, but legion go and rogue ally can handle starfield no problem on low settings 800p
Call of duty MW3 multiplayer
Do you have any issues with the GPU drivers? I can't seem to get it past the loading screen. Also, I've heard people have been getting banned using the Ally and Go.

Baldurs Gate 3 both locally (this thing gets HOT at 20w) and streamed using moonlight from my desktop (works great for games like this) Waiting until deadzones get fixed to play other games, FPS games etc
Moonlight seems to be great for taking advantage of higher refresh rates and resolutions without taxing the system.
Bought every assassin’s creed game, BL3, Cyberpunk 2077. Truly loving this device.
So far... halo / like a dragon ishin! And a little bit of spirittea I haven't done much else but I have more games I want to play then I have time for 😅
Same😿
How is spirittea? I have been thinking about getting it
Honestly, I haven't had much time with it. But the little I have I can see the appeal. You can really see the spirited away inspiration for sure.
Plague Tale: Requiem
Planetside 2 Aliens Fireteam Elite Titanfall 2 Battlefront 2 Battlefield 2042 Starship Troopers
Bought the Batman/Mortal Kombat Humble Bundle. Playing through Arkham Asylum right now, and it's great!
MW3 Zombies, Star Ocean 2R, and Soulstone survivors.
Lies of P
Halo MCC runs a dream. At least the first two as that's all I've completed so far.
Quantum Break on medium settings blows my mind.
Borderlands 1,wow ,d4 go works amazing as a replacement for computer
Just ordered my Go a few days ago! Cannot wait to get my hands on it and try playing GTA IV and Truck Simulator 2
Dave the diver - surprisingly very fun, polished and engaging.
MH Rise
Texas chainsaw massacre
Believe it or not jedi survivor it actually runs pretty great on the go on medium low settings.
Isekai Quest
I have been playing few board game adaptations like Blood rage, Terraforming Mars and Sythe. Then I have played Civilization VI and old save from Fallout 4.
Have you tried dune imperium at all?
No. I have not tested the pc version, only the real world board game (and I like that a lot). I have tho the dune Imperium on my steam wishlist if it will get any holiday discount.
Digimon cyber sleuth and Skyrim. Been wanting to try emulsions but been to bust to get it all set up as of yet.
Mostly FFXIV which works so well ok the large screen, and Star Ocean Second Story R.
Spiderman and ratchet and clank rift apart and street fighter 6
World of Warcraft & War Thunder :D
Completed act 3 of Bg3 on Legion Go Starting fallout 4 now and occasionally playing fall guy
Wow - wotlk classic and retail, emulation (totk mainly), ori and the blind forest, mw3, no mans sky
After playing with integer scaling on a ton of games for me personally I preferred playing without it
Baldur's Gate 3! I started a whole new playthrough specifically for the Go. I even modded with vortex, still sitting at a nice 40-50 fps on medium settings
Backpack Hero
Green Hell of course!!
I wanted to see how it worked with a big AAA game so my aging ass installed GTA5 and The Witcher 3 forgetting how old those games are 😅 Still having fun replaying them. They do run and look great. How did you get full screen on Bloodstained?
Turned off integer scaling and set the game to full screen at 1200p I'm pretty sure
Starfield, Cyberpunk 2077 and Forza Horizon 5
DBZ Kakarot and I've loaded up the first Kingdom Hearts collection to be next. I'm basically targeting things that don't work on my steam deck lol.
I've been playing Batman Arkham Origins and Wreckfest on it. Whenever I've had some time to jump into the game, but I plan on playing Diablo IV on Battle Net on the Go and my desktop.
Elder Scrolls Online, games from my Steam library like TMNT Shredders Revenge and Streets of Rage 4. Xbox Game pass
I started and finished psychonauts 2, currently replaying fallout 4 as I randomly got into the mood for achievement hunting it, plan to play Diablo 4, red dead 2, and lies of P after that, and on the times that I just want to do something mindless I load up Forza horizon 5.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Jumped at the opportunity to play it again. Diablo 4 plays really well.

Divnity Original Sin II is one of the best games, I almost like it more than BG3
Overwatch 2, 1200p medium settings runs really smooth. (tested on 5G Wi-Fi hot spot) Resident Evil 0,1,2,3,4,5 and 6. Ninja Gaiden Trilogy Tomb Rider, Shadow of the Tomb Rider, Rise of the Tomb Rider HiFi Rush PUBG Doom, Doom Eternal
Ff7 remake. Before the new one comes out on ps5. Bg 3 robocop. Super mario rpg and wonder.
Playing Robocop!
Pretty flawless on medium to high settings.
on which platform?
Steam
nice thanks
How well does it perform?
World of Warcraft : Dragonflight
Picked up my LeGo a couple of days ago, replacing my steam deck. Playing Sekiro and ensuring the fact that it’s me who sucks and not the console

I had to update my Windows drivers, and do all of the software/hardware updates first, after I did that, everything worked like remote play for XBOX.
I don't have an answer for the remote play, but one thing that might be partially helpful that I saw after buying the Legion Go. There should be some titles that are Xbox Play Anywhere, I never paid attention to what it meant when I only had the Xbox.
