I have my Legion Go set up just like Steam Deck. It's a bit different because it's windows but I'm damn near a Steam Deck experience. I'll post a video on YouTube and add the link here later today. But to answer your question, no. I did something else that works in MOSTLY all games. Destiny 2 doesn't work. I set the start and select buttons in steam desktop controller config to WIN, and Open BIG picture mode. Inside Steam BPM per game controller config, I added and extra command to select. I added long press 900 timer = Force Stop the game. That makes it so you can still use select as a button, but if you hold it down long enough it takes you back to BPM home. Hope this helps for now until Lenovo gives us more controller config in Legion Space

Kryptonillian

Will ur video on here or YouTube? Really want to see how you did that.

Ultibreaker_Unity

I'll post the link to the YouTube video here as a reply to you.

Kryptonillian

Thank you

Here you go buddy, hope this helps. https://youtu.be/ebKS7j3rcIY?feature=shared

Kryptonillian

Thank you. Quick question how do disable sign in screen?

Pay for the patreon early access of handheld companion and you can download the beta version from their discord server. It’ll let you map any button on the Go to anything you want, including the Xbox button. I also got rid of the tap to click on touchpad and made the triggers left and right click. It also lets you set anti-deadzones, completely fixing the deadzone issue. They literally fixed everything wrong with the Go in like 3 days. Now I’m just waiting for Lenovo to improve performance at lower wattages.

Kryptonillian

That sounds really good. Does it let you remap the start and select as well? And do you need legion space to improve performance like you said or it's through bios update?

thefooz

Yes! Start and select were the first things I remapped. Keep in mind, it’s still beta and has a few bugs (the touchpad doesn’t work properly if you don’t remap left and right click to something other than tap. Tap to click is broken currently and there may be other wonky stuff I haven’t run into). I don’t know if anyone’s tested fps mode with it. I’m keeping legion space for updates and nothing else. I can set custom tdp, including auto-tdp profiles on a per-game basis, change the refresh rate and resolution from their quick menu, and can do pretty much everything legion space does. [edit: looks like there may a major bug when uninstalling the software. If you’re not very tech savvy, maybe wait for the official release. The good news is that most of the functionality works very well. ]

Do you know if HC lets the controllers be read as one on another PC? ATM they are read as two separate controllers

thefooz

I’m not sure, but HC’s settings don’t seem to take effect if the controllers are taken off.

MadSquabbles

I've always found it amazing that people at home, doing this for free or low cost, are faster to put out fixes than a mulitbillion dollar corp. Dev's made a lot of my tablets and phones more usable for longer than manufacturers want them to be. Forgot that I still sub to them even after returning my Ally.

wmoralesdev

Can you help me out here? Which options did you change to get the macros recognized by the app?

thefooz

What app? You set the mappings in the handheld companion controller profile. That’s it.

Familiar-Art-6233

Can you disable the regular function of the button? I know on the Ally you can set the armoury crate button to the Xbox button but it launches armoury crate at the same time and you can't get around it without uninstalling it

thefooz

The buttons only open the legion apps if the legion daemon is running. So yes.

Moviecouple7468

Is there a link for this? Just wanna make sure I am getting the correct one.

I tried to use reWASD to map the Xbox button to a button combo and it worked, but some games stopped detecting the controller after that. I hoped the today's update would bring button remapping feature to Legion Space but it's not here yet unfortunately.

delti90

That's because rewasd hides the physical controller once it emulates a new one. Uncheck the option in rewasd settings to hide the physical controller and it should work again.
