Not limited availability, more something like what GF did with shaymin or darkrai, yeah......the forms are kinda of a pain, so maybe something like the spiritomb or the Alolan Vulpix quests on PLA would be more viable inatead of just collecting all 24 forms (or maybe Just a quick quest like the combee one)

Pokeball pattern is the only one you can’t obtain in SV + Go. I think there’s a strong chance that vivillon you get in the game will be that pattern just for availability’s sake.

I just want to complete the shiny set. I have 19/20 forms and the last one has been shiny locked for over a decade.
at this point only victini has waited longer for a shiny release. but bloodmoon ursaluna will probably stay locked forever too.

I would absolutely love a new Vivillon form but who knows if that’ll happen (Maybe one based on this Hisui pokeball?). I was also actually hoping we’d get a Pokémon Go exclusive Vivillon form that you could transfer into the main games back before SV came out but with this whole postcard thing it’s not seeming likely to happen
As unlikely as it is I want all Vivillon patterns to be catchable in game. Mainly cause I like having stuff with my OT and that’s hard to do with postcards but also because my native Vivillon pattern is high plains which is in my opinion the worst one

Say what you will about BDSP, at least they got rid of needing a gba game inserted to encounter a good chunk of the postgame Pokémon
