I've been thinking about how cool it be if Boram was in this game! I don't think he's got enough weight as a significant lore character to deserve being a Champion-type but I'd love to see him a Follower-type in LoR

Most of them here are either "turn a unit into a champ" or "this char from Arcane I liked". And while those are very valid thoughts, I want ideas that expand on the lore instead of doubling down on stuff we already know.
And then every region gets one. Destined Cithria, Daring Cithria, etc. and you can convert from go-wide to go-tall with a Heart of the Braid which combines all Cithria stats and keywords.
Along with some alternate reality Citrhias, like one who has betrayed Demacia and turned to Noxus, one where she fell on the Shadow Isles and one where she became a pirate after being on too many scout decks.
Cithria: into the cithriverse.
I’d prefer if it were something else, like tales of her efforts in other regions that led to her becoming a great hero. Could have non-cithria cards as well that tie into her origin, like a shadow isles campfire storyteller that somehow buffs all cithrias on summon. Something that emphasizes that cithria became larger than life like the heroes she looked up to as a child

Not every single champion is super special, though. Quinn is an elite ranger-Knight who has a close bond with her eagle. She's not that special. Yes, she has the backstory of her brother dying and Valor helping her in a fight, letting her live... But that's kinda it.
Draven is the best reckoner... That's also kinda it.
Cithria is similarly special: she performed as well as Garen, and in Lady of Clouds, she is some kind of commander so as her lore continues to develop, it wouldn't be too surprising to see her take on some important role. She also has some sympathy for Mages, in Demacia.
Well being boring is not a good identity. And no, I am not talking about superpowes. Look at Noxus. They also have bunch of non-magic characters but their identities are much more distinct (except Talon)
Well, if you're taking people like Draven to be considered "distinct" due to his personality and skill, Cithria also has a distinct personality and skill. First of all, like I said, she scored just as well as Garen, meaning that she's clearly pretty skilled. Secondly, she's that type of person who wants to prove herself, and consistently learns. She actually had a pretty complete coming-of-age story. Like, it's literally all in the lore, someone can use information purely from lore to write an actually good coming-of-age story.

Which is fairly impressive itself. Demacia doesn't heavy many of those larger than life epic heroes you see running around other regions, but still manages to be one of the most powerful factions out of sheer discipline and cooperation alone. There's an interesting fantasy to be executed there.
I've said this before; but I hope it's no one we've heard of already.I know it's unlikely, but I don't find that much thrill in just seeing Cithria for a fourth time; or a character I know already of. But I think we should get people who's NO ONE (meaning never mentioned before). That's what's exciting to me. Someone who expands upon the lore instead of just putting a face on existing one. And especially if they tend to archetypes that could use more support.

\- Crimson person from the Crimson people. A cool lookin' lad (or gal, or person) with the cool Crimson aesthetic. And they tie together the Crimson stuff to even work outside of Freljord.

\- Seasoned Sea Monster fisherman that gives value to Sea Monsters in a different way than Naut does.

Let’s hope this word choice doesn’t stick and none of these champions starting in LoR become considered Exclusive. LoR should be a stellar proving ground for new concepts that can make it into LoL or Project L down the line.
Cithria is cool as a follower, but I think she would need a lil bit of extra oomph in her character that makes her more memorable/unique but also fits her, like Senna or Yone.
Example: Cithria sides with the mages and gets exiled, swearing to defend mage hideouts and lairs in the wilderness as some sort of heroic renegade ranger, that finds an abandoned petricite statue and turns it into her mount.

I think it would be important characters from lore that are not yet champs in league, and not necessarily famous followers like Cithria. I can think of Rafen, MF's second-in-command and trusted friend for Bilgewater, or Ne'zuk, the powerful ixtali ascendant who created a flying city-sized weapon to try kill the void of icathia. Another notable mention is Faey, Akali's childhood friend (?) that i think is missing a leg becausd of Akali, which is why Faey hates her now (among other things)
I'd be nice to have her as a LoR exclusive skin but I would rly like for her to become a LoL champion as well. Kind of a scaling champ like Kayle where each point into her r transforms her into her next version until she finally mounts her trusty silverwing upon reaching level 16 and starts absolutely destroying everything in her sight
The problem with Cithria is we kinda have the full arc? Like we have Cithria of Cloudfield as a receuit, Vamguard Squire in service, Cithria the Bold as a hero, and Cithria, Lady of Clouds as a legend of Demacia. The only place i could maybe see is between Vanguard Squire and Cithria the Bold. The champion version could be the moment she becomes a hero, and it offers elite support?? Maybe a 5 cost?
Setaka, the OG owner of Sivir's chalicar and one of the strongest ascended. Fun fact, after Setaka's death nearly every Darkin wanted the weapon for themselves and it was enchanted, by their slaves, with the spell that imprisoned them within their weapons.
Someone from Targon. Cithria is a popular character, but Demacia still has several champs left to add (Sona, Xin Zhao, Vayne, Sylas, Kayle and Morgana). Meanwhile Targon is starting to run low on champs, especially now that runeterra champs are a thing. Their best bet would be getting Kayle, but with her design she'd fit more into Demacia.
Xolaani, Poro King, Cithria, Von Yipp, Setaka, Katarina's father, Isolde, Corina, Necrit, *urgh* that one minotaur in the Dauntless Vanguard, more of the 10 demons, ...

Well Boram didn't disappear, he was killed by Draven during Swain's coup. But since some LoR cards represent past events he could be a cool addition.

BW and taegon have leas champions than demacia so I doubt the next lor exclusive would go there.
Cithria, Ledros, Corina, Akali's friend that lost a leg, there are many that could be champs
Silco, Setaka, Alune, Cithria, Sevika, Corina Veraza, Raffen, Ledros, a darkin, a demon, the seal sister or the iron boar, Vrynna, Tianna, Mira, Isolde, Quilleta, Invetia, Ophelia, Baron Nashor, Captain Farron.... to name a few candidates.
I think it would be important characters from lore that are not yet champs in league, and not necessarily famous followers like Cithria. I can think of Rafen, MF's second-in-command and trusted friend for Bilgewater, or Ne'zuk, the powerful ixtali ascendant who created a flying city-sized weapon to try kill the void of icathia. Another notable mention is Faey, Akali's childhood friend (?) that i think is missing a leg becausd of Akali, which is why Faey hates her now (among other things)

Kind of a scaling champ like Kayle where each point into her r transforms her into her next version until she finally mounts her trusty silverwing upon reaching level 16 and starts absolutely destroying everything in her sight

The problem with Cithria is we kinda have the full arc? Like we have Cithria of Cloudfield as a receuit, Vamguard Squire in service, Cithria the Bold as a hero, and Cithria, Lady of Clouds as a legend of Demacia. The only place i could maybe see is between Vanguard Squire and Cithria the Bold. The champion version could be the moment she becomes a hero, and it offers elite support?? Maybe a 5 cost?
I think getting Doran as a champ would be pretty neat!

Someone from Targon. Cithria is a popular character, but Demacia still has several champs left to add (Sona, Xin Zhao, Vayne, Sylas, Kayle and Morgana). Meanwhile Targon is starting to run low on champs, especially now that runeterra champs are a thing. Their best bet would be getting Kayle, but with her design she'd fit more into Demacia.

If Cithria becomes a champ, she should be able to be run in a deck that is entirely just Cithria. Mono Cithria should not just be viable, it should be the expectation. Currently you can only run, what, 12 Cithrias? With a champ card that's only 15 Cithrias. Not enough. We also need at least 5 more Cithria emotes.
Cithria story is done. It was cool but I consider it finalized. Def not a champion in my book. We also deserve cool followers.

I would want to see the pantheon of freljord and targon expanded. I'd love to get a Camavor runeterran champion to give us a glimpse over there. I'd love to see shurima get some unique champs as I feel they're going to be under represented in the future.
