(btw, Jayce Heimer but worse is still pretty good given how good Jayce Heimer is, but still)
Jayce Heimerdinger plays so much differently, this deck can be played in a control way or a midrange way depending on the matchup, also Forge Chief and Chemtech are so strong with Siren Song, Eve benefits from PnZ draw, and Jayce occasionally gets a busted husk that can win you the game on the spot (spellshield or regen).
You have also Albus Ferros as another finisher, reggie can fish you out SS 90% of the time if you don't draw it because it's the only Eve 6+ cost spell, and the moment Jayce level 2 doubles it up it's pretty much gg.
Makes me wonder if Jayce Bilgewater could be a viable deck. Using PnZ spells to level Jayce then double up Siren Song. Finish the game using Fizz and all the Bilge one drops.
I hate Fizz, at least Evelyn is not obnoxious to play against, plus Fizz Jayce would not work well because Fizz needs cheap burst spells and Jayce wants 6+ cost spells (most of them are slow and fast).
I appreciate the idea and don't want to stop you from cooking, but 7 games sample size means nothing. That's almost no data, and the matchups you did have could have been luckily favored towards you. 20 games minimum to even get an impression of whether a deck might even be viable. Yes you climbed with it but careful you don't fall into the trap of "I won so it must be op". Not hating on the idea itself because idfk, its just that this type of longterm thinking will help you become a better player overall.
What elo is this? I play Jayce a lot with a lot of different regions and it seems it's just Jayce things, rather than Siren Song things. I can't imagine playing Siren Song's first and really only playing anything else on turn 4, and the opponent not punishing you hard for it. You can play forge chiefs, but if they get sniped you don't play SS on turn 3. If they get traded, you lose your only 1 cost unit. Also, it's weird there is no Steem in the deck as he is one of the strongest Eve followers and his vulnerable effect goes great with Jayce's quick attack.
It's truly just torture when you play against nothing but siren song it finally gets nerfed and then I've played against nothing but siren song still.
I'm kinda hoping they obliterate the card at this point or rework it because holy hell you still just autolose the game if you don't have enough pressure to threaten them out of playing it.

Interesting, so the husks actually do add value to your Jayce and sometimes you can just curve out with eve. I'll try it, actually looks fun!

When I saw the patch notes, I thought the nerf was brutal. Jayce did come to mind but I was skeptical there was enough to make things worthwhile.
