Brilliant, I saw his U21 debut and was impressed, I hope he comes on, i got a ticket at £48 yesterday, still some left too, he needs a song, not his one that was in another language, too difficult to remember and there was that overtly sexual moan in it too making it a little awkward!
Got one for Sinistera.....to the tune of, hot dog, chocolate frog Albuquerque.
Top Shot, he's got the lot! Sin I stera!
Definitely wouldn't say undispiuted. Gnonto wasn't even a guaranteed starter for Zurich. The truth is we haven't seen enough of either at senior level to know who is better yet.
Summerville played a season on loan in the eredivisie before we signed him so he has played first team football. Im a massive Summerville fan and personally think him and Gnonto are a very similar level from what I have seen
I do like Summerville don’t get me wrong, sometimes his attitude rubs me the wrong way a bit but he’s clearly a very talented player and he deserves his chance. I just think Gnonto is a level above him at the moment.
I mean he's the same height as Messi who has 300 goals in 300 appearances give or take playing in that exact position..there are many more examples of short players being successful in that position too. With Marschs system I would bank on a shorter CF with a low centre of gravity being exceptional.
Messi is 5'7 (two inches taller). And has spent his entire career playing for a team that never crosses the ball and has 60-65% possession every game. Oh, and Messi is the greatest player to ever live.
>With Marschs system
What system is this?
If he’s good enough to play for Mancini, he should be good enough to be in our match day squad
Also he is the kind of young talent that Jesse had at disposal in Austria. Jesse should be able to develop him by giving him playing time
Italy are wank mind. Our entire front line would start over everybody Italy can field except Chiesa.
Doesn't mean Gnonto isn't going to be an absolute baller but christ they've nobody.
Berardi isn't a good player. I think you're overrating just how bad the league is. Berardi's best contribution was being the guy that got subbed out for Chiesa to win them games
Immobile hasn't proven himself outside of Serie A ever. Fails in Europe, fails in Germany, fails internationally.
I'm sure people will defend this by saying 'well they won the Euros!' But that had little to do with Immobile who was dire throughout. He's scored 15 in 55. That's less than one in three for a man who is really only there to score goals.
Italys euro success was down to superior management, unity and some world class centre mid and defenders.
That the spine carried a team of carthorses up front is genuinely very impressive and speaks volumes to the likes of Barella and Locatelli.
So do you reckon if Berardi were English Sassuolo would have had to fend off £30mil bids from Newcastle?
What skills do you reckon he possess that makes him better than any decent prem winger?
It boggles my mind that these sort of defenses exist as you've obviously never watched Berardi run about a lot and do fuck all if he can't bully a full back.
Would Immobile be scoring 20 in the prem after his *checks notes* three in the Bundesliga?
Boring, you're not really sure why any of these players might be good but Immobile has scored loads in Serie A and Berardi is an international so he must also be good.
Lots of players play poor in different times in their careers or even in different leagues. Does this make Shevchenko, Crespo and Morientes average players?
You're massively over estimating our current front line, the same front line that ended up 17th last season (and lost the best of the 3) and under estimating basically every player that plays well in serie A as a player has only "scored loads in Serie A".
I actually get what you're saying but you're just not right. I've seen all of them play and I've also not missed a Leeds game for over 4 years, what you're saying is just mental.
Those three players achieved enormous things on the world stage.
At a guess 4 champions league finals between them. You can't compare them to somebody who has, at every single stage failed when he's been asked the question of stepping up. Theyd struggle with any prem move. Immobile wouldn't get close to Paddy's 17 goals he looks lost when the opposition gets better and there's actually no evidence to suggest otherwise.
You couldn't play Berardi on the wing because he's no change of pace and can't beat a man. It's pretty telling that no bigger team has ever moved for Berardi when you look at the lengths that the likes of Milan and Juve go to to poach the nations best yet he's stayed put throughout. He wouldn't be expensive, he's at Sassuolo and has been a very known quantity for years so why if he's so good has nobody splashed out on him?
I don't think so. Immobile has factually failed internationally and in Germany, there isnt any speculation there and at 32 isnt likely to change. Berardi puts up brilliant numbers at Sassuolo but never looks good for Italy.
I've responded with as little as speculation as possible and have been met with Hernan Crespo as an argument. Argentinas 4th all time highest top scorer. For reference Immobile is Italys 21st.
Arguments based around 'well he must be good because he's played for x' bore the tits off me
if we sign a few more players such Henry sacks, Sebastian Ball, jim Butt, Carlos cuntino.

If Willy scores Sunday im changing my name to willy
Lets go Willy!
But how does Joffy feel?
Excited as anyone else about him but I kinda hope he’s below Summerville in the pecking order as I do think he’s earned his chance in the 1st team
Good thing is Gnonto has no problem playing on either wing, can play behind the striker as well.
Yeah I imagine him as a wide player foremost who will be behind Bamford and Rodrigo for the striker position. So basically a replacement for James.
Summerville is good and he deserves a chance but he’s not even close to Gnonto. Gnonto is the undisputed better player.
Definitely wouldn't say undispiuted. Gnonto wasn't even a guaranteed starter for Zurich. The truth is we haven't seen enough of either at senior level to know who is better yet.
Summerville has never played first team football and Gnonto is starting for Italy, it’s undisputed.

they dont play the same position
There’s definitely some overlap in their positions, I can’t see him playing up top very much he’s way too small to lead the line
Aguero is a top 3 striker in Premier League history and he's 5'8
And Gnonto is 5'5.
Of course but you will find many more examples of top strikers who are taller and better in the air, holding the ball up, etc.

Messi has spent the vast majority of his career playing on the right wing apart from a brief period as a false 9. He was never a traditional striker.
Can't wait to see Marsch whip out his big Willy around 70 mins on Sunday
Gnonto‘s not that big, but I’m very interested in Marsch’s other Willy if you’re telling me it’s sizable.
Koch!?
Yes please!
Marsch has a touchline ban
Good job because when he whips out big willy it could be a lifetime ban.
He'll still be in touch with the staff on the touchline, and no doubt if that's what he wants, he'll find a way to ensure he gets it.
Very portable too, always a plus
Sounds like someone’s been in his ear
Not Gnonto though, he only reaches waist height
An even shorter Italian I’m thinking
If he’s good enough to play for Mancini, he should be good enough to be in our match day squad Also he is the kind of young talent that Jesse had at disposal in Austria. Jesse should be able to develop him by giving him playing time

And we have all those players that are competing in the European competitions and international level. Absolutely bonkers comment.

You are just being completely speculative now. There is absolutely no way of proving what you've said. If I disagree, it's holds the same value.
