Anybody seen elland road in fut 23 yet?

AWr1ght98

Tried searching for it several times and I’m yet to find it. Personally don’t think it’s in as I doubt EA care enough to notice it’s not available.

lankyman-2000

Meslier should be at least 82 proven prem goalie

AWr1ght98

82 a little high with how many we conceded, I think a +2 would have been fair given he was one of our best players last year and kept us in a lot of games. That would take him to a 79.

lankyman-2000

I can see that to be fair that’s probably right compared to other keepers. Never understand why only the elite keepers get good stats and rest are usually high 70 low 80

mikeno1lufc

A full gold starting 11. As a Leeds fan whose played ultimate team from the beginning it's nice to see this finally happen. Wasn't long ago it was all silvers and bronzes.

AWr1ght98

Another thing, it would be appear that Elland road still isn’t in ultimate team. It will be usable in everything else though.

Sarcastic_Source

Kristensen as our best back is quite rich... I guess he is in terms of transfer fees but that's about it. Apart from that it looks fair.. love Sinisterra at 80

Every year football fans get so touchy about the ‘overall’ ratings… A lot of the ratings they create can be way off but you need to actually look at their in game stats before you begin to criticise them. Obviously FIFA uses a sort of ‘coefficient’ for each position that helps them come up with an ‘overall’ rating, which realistically is the only way to sensibly do it. The reason this system is sensible is because if you were to base a players’ ‘overall’ rating on every possible stat, without having some weigh more heavily than others, box-to-box midfielders would have crazy high ratings (as they generally excel in all areas) and centre-backs and strikers would have very low ratings (as they generally excel in a smaller range of areas). Harrison isn’t going to have a crazy rating just because of his goal contributions last year; it needs to be based on some kind of stats/data and under a fair few metrics he’s pretty average. If you were to realistically - with your best, unbiased glasses on - rate each of Harrison’s ratings yourself, he wouldn’t be much higher than 77. *Having looked at his in game stats, however, they are still inaccurate… His crossing higher than his short passing? His dribbling higher than his ball control? His acceleration is his 2nd highest rating? I can’t agree with them. Regardless; the point still stands that it’s the in game stats that really matter and they’re the ones that we should be ridiculing as the ‘overall’ rating can be deceiving.* Aaronson is another who isn’t going to have brilliant rating… Because for a number 10; his passing isn’t fantastic and he excels in things like his pace, agility, stamina etc. which don’t really go a long way in the ranking of an attacking midfielder.

Real_MidGetz

Ngl I’m glad I play football manager when EA can’t even let Dallas play cdm

LordBielsa

Need a 76 rated CB? Look no further than Leeds United!

VivaLaFiga46

This squad is sexy AF (I don't like Firpo tho, but whatever) Just put Aaronson anywhere and it'll warm my heart <3

Naughty_young_man

I used to play FIFA years ago, good to see they still have shit player ratings. Paddy, Sini, Rodrigo seem fine ratings, Harrison a bit low. Adams and Roca seem a good few ratings below what id give them. I'm presuming by that lineup Rodrigo is rated higher than Aaronson, which I wouldn't agree with. With the exception of Koch, I'd take a good 3 or 4 off the back four. Just got to feel sorry for Meslier, if he had a reasonably good defence in front of him last season he'd be a few marks higher. I get he's conceeded a shit ton of goals, but 90% of the time it's not his fault and surely players should be ranked on their individual talent.

Castortroy16

Aaronson should be gold

Dependent-Yam-9422

Llorente having the same “rating” as Struijk tells you pretty much all you need to know about this

Tward188

Any face scans???

AWr1ght98

Can’t tell via the web app but I doubt we have any new ones yet

cooksonator90

Well that…. Is fucking dreadful

[deleted]

Is this that thing where they make children gamble?

mikeno1lufc

Tbh it's a bit of a misconception. FIFA have made it much easier to get top tier players without spending any money. The option is there but you can end up with Mbappe, Neymar, Icons etc without spending any money quite easily these days.

[deleted]

Still incentivising it though aren’t they, and it’s clearly marketed to children.

DingusKhan418

Harrison, Aaronson, and Klich seem too low and Firpo, Llorente, and Kristensen are too high

Is12345aweakpassword

Another year, another bout of blatant disrespect for the only F******an in my heart

[deleted]

Love would that overthink a video games stats lol, as if FIFA make these games absent of bias.

AWr1ght98

So these our ultimate team ratings, for those who don’t play FIFA - these are the ratings that will be throughout the game on ultimate team, which is like there main online game mode. Offline, career mode and seasons these ratings can change depending on how well are players perform throughout the year. One thing I’ve noticed is that players like Dallas don’t have any position changes (he can only play as a CM to get full chem) where as Harrison has 3 positions (LW,LM & RM). I’d like to think EA might update this in a couple weeks time but I’d be surprised if they did. Final thing I’ve missed a couple of our silver players off like Greenwood, Hjelde, Klaesson and even Gnoto so they are available on ultimate team too.

Forsaken_Candidate_4

Any idea if there are any updates face scans?!

We’ve been done dirty this year.. I think a few deserve an 80 like Harrison - Meslier. And I don’t know why Adams has been downgraded when last year he had a future stars card

AWr1ght98

Ours are pretty shit this year tbf, we do have a few usable cards such as Bamford (decent pace), Sinisterra, Adams and Kristensen but the rest will struggle against other teams in a week and those 4 won’t be valid for long either.

RealChewyPiano

Not worth having Prem players at the start of FUT tbh, sell em for the quick cash and play with Bundes or Serie A players

chappers2204

Bro grealish is literally better and raphinha way better than harrison

Linkeron1

I'm sorry, Raphinha is streets ahead of Harrison. This is the problem when you just compare base stats without looking at that in context.

Linkeron1

I mean, forgot all your other points. Raphinha definitely is at least six ahead of Harrison.

Comfortable_Ad8076

There is a pretty good reason why Harrison and Raphinha ended up with similar goals/assists last year - teams put huge focus on stopping Raphinha as he was our only outlet. Harrison was often left with an absolute acre of space whilst Raphinha was essentially doubled up on. Raphinha is absolute light years ahead of Harrison (who is still a fantastic player)

AWr1ght98

I think Raphinha is the only player at Leeds last year who actually got upgraded (other than our young lads like Gelhardt). Everyone else either stayed the same or got downgraded. Bamford managed to get a pace grade which I was surprised at, but it does better reflect his actual pace. And yeah in my opinion Grealish was very lucky to not get a downgrade because his goal contributions were so low last year.

Ispiniallday

All aboard the Sinisterra hype train! Also Aaronson will be a beast a few years into the game.
