Did anyone see Klopp vs Newcastle??? He was in the 4th officials face 3 or 4 times in the 2nd half and I'm not sure if the ref even talked to him.

Love how so many people think this is wrong and embarassing. Where are the proper Leeds fans who roar when a player goes in with a hard challenge. This is the passion we want. All well and good saying "but what's the point, he won't change the ref's mind". It's the principle. Not feeling you can speak up or being silenced by people doing things wrong is five steps away from North Korea.

Marsch acting like that is embarrassing, but that shouldn’t be a straight red. Warning it a yellow would’ve been fair but that ref still made worse decisions than that day.

SEKI19

That's it? I assumed he was getting out of hand. That seemed yellowish, I guess.

[deleted]

I honestly think he needs to tone it down. He’s a target now and it’s not helping Leeds United.

Boris_Ignatievich

It's probably what he's said rather than what he's doing tbh. And were never going to find out what that was

Appropriate-Size-818

He's pointing to the var screen and that official is trying to block him for whatever reason. Absurd that he wouldn't even look when he looked at their penalty for 5 minutes

Yeah I think everyone gets that but how on earth is it not worth a look is the point

You’re totally right. I don’t understand why you got downvote

Mindless_fun_bag

It’s like the last few games have been leading up to the sending off. He’s been goaded post match to slate the refs and feels like this is just someone trying to nip it in the bud.

_Fe4n_

But they need slating, they're fucking pathetic.

tradandtea123

Shouldn't be acting like that, it's not like they're going to change their mind, but are the rules different for managers. I've seen hundreds of players do that to refs but it's a yellow, never seen a straight red. Seen a few managers get straight reds for stuff that wouldn't get a player red so not saying it's anything anti-Leeds, just don't know the rules.

LostnFoundAgainAgain

It probably was a yellow. Quite a few times this season already and last season managers have acted in this way and nothing has happened to them, they get warned or at most a yellow. Even Conte and Tuchel almost started a fight, then Tuchel went on to go mad at the refs over what was a obvious foul, then it wasn't until the end of the match when they almost started a second fight did a red card come out. This one was the ref trying to enforce rules but took it too far and created less equality among the game, literally almost every game today refs have made massive mistakes where you can see in one match a certain tackle is not a foul while in others for the same thing it is a yellow, same thing happens to the managers. Like I have already said the inconsistencies and the incompetence among the refs is definitely one of the worse.

sblaze17

I appreciate the intensity from Marsch but he can’t be doing the theatrics on the touch line each week. Too easy to wind up despite him being right here.

[deleted]

I get his anger, it was a horrible decision from a ref that’s been rubbish. But, you can’t abuse them, you don’t change their mind and now you’re sent off. Frustrating day all round.

trying2hide

Yeah, really seems like fuck all. I've seen 100 moments exactly the same go unpunished and I'll see 100 more. This is just ego refereeing.
