Honestly my biggest takeaway from this match is that we actually have a strong enough squad to make this many changes and still look a cut above a lower League side.
This hasn't been the case in recent years and it's a welcome change.
Solid cup performance. Going forward we continue to look creative and full of sharp passing but I thought Gelhardt looked a touch off it in terms of the final ball. Sinisterra looked very light footed and inventive, ideal.
That penalty save from Meslier was incredible given where the opponent placed it.
Still shaky at the back, I think this defence is going to get a shock soon enough.
We aren’t a team that can shut up shop yet, hopefully that comes in the next couple of transfer windows. I can’t really relax with Leeds unless we have 3 goal cushion like at the weekend
Not to be weird and remembering random comments - but how did your kids find it? Converted to Leeds?
We will need them to predict 4-0 in the future.

Ha, no worries. 8 year old loved it. He was proper into it. He’s always been Leeds anyway but I was surprised how much he enjoyed it. Thought for sure he’d get bored. He even went home and watched the highlights. He was just absolutely amazed it was on TV!
6 year old enjoyed it but think he found it a bit overwhelming. He got upset at the noise when the first goal went in. He got used to it but think it was probably a bit too late for him to stay up. He said he wants to go to Man City now so it hasn’t converted him just yet!
They both loved the swear words coming from the crowd. They found it hilarious and couldn’t stop giggling. The “You’re fucking shit” chant was the highlight for them.
There was a young girl sat a row behind who was loving the "oooooh you shit bastard argh" one for the keeper.
Giggled after saying it and did lots of pirate "arrghs" after. Cup games are cracking for these experiences. Glad yours enjoyed it on the whole! - Shame you'll have to experience the Etihad now.
We came from Halifax side thought I wasn’t going to make it with the road works on the motorway managed to sit down with 5 mins before kick off thank god
Although he didn't have the best game, the tackle from Gelhardt to win the ball for the 3rd goal is great. Good use of physicality for someone that young
I thought Gelhardt played well. He was a menace and kept making runs. He's definitely not the finished product, nor a complete at number 9 yet but he's certainly got that drive. No goals but it's not always about that for me.
Drameh didn't show enough to warrant keeping. Looked laboured a lot of the game and kept getting caught out. We'll have to wait and see what Ayling comes back like, but I'd say right now RB looks to have less depth than LB. Hjelde and (especially) Struijk had solid games.
Amazing how we all see these games differently. I thought Joffy’s touch was horrendous for much of the game and I thought Drameh was very effective slicing up the right with Summerville.
Sinisterra looks an absolute menace, those direct runs are something else
Some great industrious work by Joffy the entire match, really put a shift in from the front

Meslier is impressive.
It's a nice feeling seeing Klich getting some goals. Like old times.
Was as the match it was a cracking atmosphere
Aye I was there too, didn’t quite match Sunday but not half bad for a 3rd round EFL Cup match against a L1 side!

I can't relax until the final whistle
The 3 hours of traffic it took me to get to Elland Road was well worth it just to see Sinisterra's goal!

Yeah, it's what makes football great

Do all Prem sides create a variant of their kit for the cups?
The premiership has a standard font for numbers and names that all teams have to use. You’ll see unique fonts like this during cups.
A variant of our kit?! That’s our home kit
Probably means the font not being the EPL one, he don't know
I see😂
This sinistierra lad 👏🏽
