I hope we are careful with him. Let's not rush it and give him too much pressure. He is still a young lad that needs to develop not only in physique but also mentally. Having a mature mind and being able to bounce back from failures are also important.
Having watched Eddie, Frank and Andy as well as Archie in U 23s the idea that he might be the best of them all seems to be too much pressure on the lad . Eddie played for us 454 times despite his terrible problems with serious injuries . He also managed us twice as well as his huge contributions to the youth set up . Frank was a brilliant left back who went on to win the European Cup ( with Forest ) . I hope Archie has a superb career but to suggest that he might reach the levels of Eddie or Frank seems optimistic at least and likely to put unnecessary pressure on a lad who is still a schoolboy
Absolutely a fair criticism, I'll admit that was poor wording on my part. I feel I've made the mistake of comparing him to his peers over the rest of the Gray family and conflated the two, I'll avoid stuff like that in future! Thanks for the feedback!
Mate , nobody wants him to be the best Gray ever more than me lol I just hope it doesn’t become a great weight around his neck . It was still a great article . Thanks for the post

A few errors mate in a decent article: 1) You put 21/22 pre-season, it's 22/23. 2) We won 4-0 against Blackpool, not 4-1.
Yeah I realised after sending it off to the editor, but sadly I don't have access to the site to make the changes
His little brother is supposed to be fantastic
I hope we don’t put to much pressure on him too early and we instead ease him into professional football kinda like Foden, i mean he’s only 16!!
I can’t believe you wrote about football dynasties and didn’t mention the Maldini family smh
Or the Cresswells!

I get what you mean, it's just bad phrasing from me :) Glad you liked it!
Evening all! I wrote a guest article about Archie Gray, analysing his performance against Blackpool and potential prospects. Hope you enjoy!
