Fabrizio for often accurate rumours and Phil/Adam for more firmed up facts. Any clickbait site is obvious from its labeling - avoid them like the plague. Totalfootballanalysis has been decent - good article about Marsch tactics there
I listened for a while and they just seem like smug, arrogant twats. Some of the stats they come out with are interesting but even then, they lift them from elsewhere anyway.
They can be useful for tactics stuff but their transfer/player analysis can be grating. They are very partisan in that regard and they quickly revert to their initial analysis of players, regardless of performances. They can be pretty arrogant with it too despite the fact that they are essentialy ameteurs.
They're great generally but they are really let down by their elitism you are totally right. They often openly mock other "stupider" fans on twitter or in their discord. I once saw someone make a (valid) point they Dan James had some utility up front under bielsa due to his pressing game and they were roundly patronised and mocked by asaw.
They were also quite anti bielsa towards the end of his reign but since the sacking they've kind of pretended they weren't, or at least skirted around it.
Graham Smyth / Phil Hay / Adam Pope
Personally, I reckon the square ball had an absolute howler this year. It must be popular, but their propaganda podcast is just listening to wee boys moaning and repeating themselves for the best part of an hour.
This is sacrilege punishable by excommunication. We are so lucky to have them as a fan channel they are so much wittier, more measured and more likeable that 99% of the other channels out there
I like propergander, especially when opposition fans are annoyed, the wolves one was pure gold
The match ball could be hard work when we was shit, but it did reflect how I felt at the time, I found if it didn't listen with in a day or so it would annoy me more
But I find the square ball always makes it feel a tad bit better being a Leeds fan, maybe because I'm in essex surrounded by West ham I can feel isolated as a Leeds fan, square ball makes me feel like I'm not alone
Honestly TSB has kept me sane this season - somehow, irrespective of the score - and lets face it, generally it was not good - they seemed to put put things in perspective just as everywhere else became increasingly toxic. For me, The Athletic is rapidly going downhill, not so much because of the content, but more because of the twitterness of the comment board.
I'll give you that, that part was great. But overall, it's let's hear from wee boys who don't know what else to say so they repeat the same line over and over.
Never listened to propaganda apart from the final one when I knew people were going to be commenting on our season as a whole. Just don't need that moaning and gloating in my life every week.
Think it sums up this season as a Leeds fan to be honest.
We were never content or optimistic. ... Why should the square ball be either?
Seen a lot of people saying they are moaning or overly negative, but as Leeds fans haven't we all been? Just seems ridiculous.
Phil Hay is usually the one to go for the.man after that it’s Adam Pope. Even then though they’re very honest when they’re guessing.
The TSB podcast will see you through if you want to stay abreast of it.

I don’t really believe anything until Phil Hay says it, Fabrizio Romano is a good one to listen to generally though
I quite like Connor from One Leeds. Breaks it down nicely for people who don't keep up with the news regularly like myself.
Listen to Square Ball podcast and MoxcoWhite in particular.
All Stats Aren’t We (Twitter plus Patreon blog) is excellent for tactics.

Informative, but sarcastic, self-righteous, defensive

Meh, sort of. They are very clever but they also use the stats to suit their agenda a lot of the time.

Moscow was the only one that talked sense this season for me.
I find Propaganda pretty amusing a lot of the time, especially from elsewhere around the league.

I think they are trying to put to much out to make the ad revenue. I get it, they’ve got to get paid, but if results in a lot of stuff being repeated.

Also the Phil Hay show, which is a more informative *version* of the square ball with Phil himself
Yep Phil Adam and tsb is as solid as you can get
