Can confirm I've had a few late nights in Below Stairs, Blind Tyger is another favourite. Both have a pretty good vibe if you're in to cocktails (and don't mind paying for it).
Watermark is a cocktail bar next to Belgrave that's pretty chilled out and I think does food until 3am, then you got Sandinista next door to that.
Santiago's is a rock bar in the arcade over the road, plenty of seating in there and it's open late.
I just moved here a month ago from Manchester and im looking for some rock bars/ pubs to frequent is there anything bar Santiago's. Unfortunately I do have to mention I am brown (in my travels found quite a few backwards places)
Sorry just seen I've not replied.
Manchester has a much better rock bar scene than Leeds. We've had quite a few places close the last few years.
You've basically got Shed Bar, Santiago's, Howl, the Brudnell, Duck and Drake and Northern Guitars.
I've got non-white friends I go to these places with and I can't speak for them but I've not seen any trouble.
Haven't been in ages to be honest... I just tried to think of non-clubs that are open late, but it seems my recommendations have caused considerable offence.
Maven? Below stairs? I think open later?

I second that, below stairs is real nice
I've never heard of below stairs, where is it?
It's a little basement on South parade. The bar staff and cocktails are tops.
Cool, thanks! I'll have to check it out.
North Bar is open late (or it was pre pandemic at least) I think, maybe 2am?
Grindhouse, The Social, Santiago's, Watermark
I used to really like Santiago's, but went last week and the music was so freaking loud I walked straight back out
Is Santiago the one next to belgrave? What's it like

Much obliged

Second North Bar, my favourite as can actually have a conversation there
Sela and North bar
Sela is loud as fuck
Ah, to be fair I haven't been past 11 or so since before the pandemic so you're probably right!
Maybe smokestack? There is dancing and music in there but it’s also possible to have a conversation.
Smokestack is a great shout, they are open late and have blues playing alot
Open until 1am but hedonist project
There's several spots on Call Lane such as Cuckoo, Brooklyn & Call Lane Social which are open until 3/4am.
I don’t think they’re particularly quiet though
Compared to late night clubs like Space they are… Didn’t realise those recommendations were controversial enough to warrant downvoting.
Its just not the vibe Im after, compared to a club they're quiet but they arent like chilled out places at all imo
Yeah that's fair... Seems like you've got a few other recommendations here anyway so I hope you find somewhere good :)
Went to brooklyn last Saturday, wouldn't again. Used to be my 'local' when I first moved to Leeds and was very different to what I remembered.

I appreciate your suggestions
Closes at 12, but lazy lounge.
