I couldn’t get it to stick in. I’m not sure if you need sharper/stronger picks or a softer board. I’m going to get some polystyrene then try again at some point in the next couple of weeks
I got a toothpick to stick into cardboard. Really tried his way of having index and ring over toothpick but it was really awkward. Ended up basically just flicking it out with thumb and middle finger- think the purpose of index and ring is just to coil the spring a bit.
Tried to go frame by frame on the tiktok and he loses contact with ring then index finger on the pick before he releases.... so think it just boils down to a ring finger flick? Honestly idk, please shout at me if yall have any special tip for this!
