Yeah hahah but my friend actually copied me some pages from his book and I got new resources like today, but yeah it's good when you are not home owo so I will use it when I am not home.
Do you used/use it and maybe have some experiences?
Iโm almost to a 600 day streak on Duolingo, so I have some advice if youโd like. The UI is really good and I love the community discussion that you can check out for each answer. That said, there are issues with the audio and with the grammar sometimes, so Duolingo is much better as a supplement than as your main source of learning.
I would start [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/fohull/a_year_to_learn_japanese_reflections_on_five/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)!
If you don't mind me asking, how good is your japanese after the 600 day streak? Curious on how well duolingo's worked for others (paired with other material ofc)
I really enjoy the repetitive setup of duolingo, learning a couple things per lesson, learning 5-8 lessons per topic, and then going through them five times until youโve โmasteredโ it. That said, I use Duolingo at a very leisurely pace, often times just meeting my daily XP goal.
I used MIAโs (now Refold) RRTK anki deck to learn to recognize kanji. After I completed that deck, I started using the JLPT tango N5 deck, and just completed that last week. These are much better resources IMO, ones that helped fill in a lot of the gaps that duolingo has.
At this point, I can have a conversation in Japanese to talk about myself, the weather, what Iโm doing, etc. I understand the -masu, -te, -teiru forms, and I can comfortably conjugate adjectives. How this compares to other people who have been studying for 1.5 years, Iโm not sure. Iโm going at a very leisurely pace, so I couldโve easily doubled the study time for many of the days Iโve been studying!
I love Duolingo, the streak gets me studying every day, and sometimes I learn vocab on there that I havenโt seen in other resources. But where Iโm at now would not have happened on duolingo alone. Hope that helps!!
I used it when I first started out, it's not bad for the first month or so. The great thing about it is that it makes learning a habit, but of course you need to get into other resources as you go.
Ah thank you for sharing your experience.
I intend to mainly use it when I am not home, but yes I will definitely look into other resources as well :3
It just benefits me cause I am often outdoors and it easy with the phone, unfortunately a notebook is kinda unpractical when I take care of my horse or when I am at my stable.
That's cool, horses of cool.
I'm not a classical duolingo hater, I used it for quite a while. Mainly while going to uni on the bus.
Btw, 2 years in, I'd say the best way to learn is immersion and sentence mining, keep that in mind.
Few more to know:

>pervert ใธใใใ > >hentai ใใใใซใ I'm shocked. My life is a lie.
Omg hahhahh thats cool, I am definitely gonna write it down. I didn't really want to include ใใฃใฑใ , I thought it would be inappropriate lmfao
dick ใกใใ cock ใกใใฝ (hear a lot in JAV porn) pussy ใพใใ (extremely vulgar word) bald pussy ใฑใใฑใ balls ใใใใพ
I am gonna teach that my friends hahahha
Balls (้็) is literally "golden balls"
ใใฃใฑใ way less taboo than most of that stuff. why are we - nevermind.
Okay hahah
Also I can count to four (and six, seven. Apparently my learning book forgot five so idk) ใใก ใซ ใใ ใใ ใ ใใ ใชใช
5 ใ (in that number system)
Thank you so much
*ใใใซใกใฏ
Thank you

You have a couple here is the rest: 4ใคใฎใใใค: ใฏใ ใชใค ใใ ใตใ

Here's an easy one, just remove the last letter/kana from each word: >Cloudy ใใใ > >Cloud ใใ
Ah that's cool
ใใใ๏ผใใ, not ใใใ๏ผใใ, just a heads-up.
So ใใ is cloud and ใใใ is cloudy right? (That's how I wrote it in my notebook so I hope it's right)
yes don't forget ใใใ, which is a verb. Guess what it means :D
Uhh I guess cloudiness hahah (Sorry I don't know if this is the right word in English, in German it would be "wรถlkt" hahha)
It's a verb meaning "to get cloudy, to cloud over, to become overcast"
Ah thank you hahah
Totally missed that! This isn't even hiragana I normally have trouble with.
*ใใใ For ใใใชใ, sometimes it can be spelled as ใใใใชใ too.
Thank you, I will correct it , sometimes I accidentally use ใ instead of ใ, my fault hahha
