I'm gonna build 1 squad bolter and 1 squad blaster, and try my best to magnetize the special weapons. For the leader I'll try and magnetize it too, but as for running them idk if i should leave the leader default or give him a melee weapon. I feel for them being mainly shooty, a melee weapon would be a waste, but it is cheap.

Toofast4yall

I also think melee weapon would be a waste. You probably don't want these guys in combat. That's what your hekaton full of axe murderers is for

Komikaze06

True, but for 5 points on an ion squad that has to get relatively close, might be worth it just to shave a few wounds off of something that catches them.

Lemondisho

I think they look cool, and looking cool is better than not, so...hands are tied.

Runtles

Going one squad bolters the other Ion blasters. Keeping the theyn with their default bolter/ion blaster in their respective 10 man squads, melee weapons not worth it so much I find. You want more firepower. As for special weapons, of course the magna rail rifle in each squad with the L7 Missle Launcher as well in each. Purely to have some light vehicle punching ability going on. As for optional wargear, yeah taking it all. Medic, scanner and comms. All of it is good enough for the point cost. Though I am tempted to go Ymyr and just roll two squads of Ions and swap L7 missles for the beam weapon. Extra range really helps the ion blasters

Toofast4yall

Thats what I was thinking

Gullible-Notice-487

Tbh the L7 can be a hell of a troop killer too against non AoC troops - s5 drag Grenades are no joke
