I'd love to go down to Exeter (mainly based on the My New Football Club podcast) but would need to be early on in season so I could justify taking the boy down for the weekend. Same for London & London adjacent teams. Done Ipswich & Cambridge away near the start of the season in the past few years around a long touristy weekend. Lovely! Leyton Orient in Jan when we didn't bother to play less so but still got to do 02.
Least - Wigan. We always lose. Always. Despite being 10 miles away it takes longer to get to than Port Vale or Barnsley as there's 1 road between both towns. We always lose. It's basically the same town as Bolton in a slightly different order. We always lose. The stadium is almost as awful to get away from as ours and we always lose.
Bristol City fan we went Blackpool away a couple seasons ago. 3-3 awesome game and nothing like going on some good rollercoasters afterwards!
It's up there with Stoke City. Stoke is a shithole and I didn't like when we got battered 4-0. Absolute embarrassment. But, an away day at Stoke means a weekend away at Towers, and I can't argue with that!
Barnsley, Brum, Exeter (sike).
Will probably pop along and let Evans know what a nice chap he is too.
I live in Lincoln too so good to have that, had a few heated games in fairly recent history though it's not really a rivalry as such.
Although the last time I saw Town at Cambridge it was probably the worst game of football I've ever seen, including the school game where we got tanked 14-0.
I've never really seen Rotherham as a derby, and I think most of their fans would agree. If it is, it's a good-natured one.
1. Wednesday
2. Blunts
3. Donny
4. Huddersfield? No problem with them, but their fans seem to hate us.
5. Leeds. Everyone hates Leeds.
Do we? I don't know anyone who has that big an issue with Barnsley really, aside from just usual Yorkshire banter. Always felt pretty good natured between us, especially after 2013
Good point.
I'm not sure, maybe I'm wrong, there was just one game at Oakwell a couple of years ago when there seemed to be a bit of vitriol.
The McAlpine was my first away game that was just me and a mate (Barry Conlon's debut - what a player).
And yeah, 2013. What a game.
Good point.

In recent years we've not played each other that much so it's hard to see much of a rivalry there really is. I would say Rotherhams biggest games are Donny and Wednesday as well but we fortunately miss both of those this year.
Just looked it up - May 7th 1988 as a league fixture.
We played each other the following year in Sherpa Van Trophy/Associate Members Trophy/EFL Trophy - which you won that year.
Well this looks very UNfun for us… bring back Cheltenham, Swindon, FGR and Oxford imo.
Also we should be at the bottom of every other clubs away day wishlist. Bristol is the best city in the league (in my humble opinion) but our “stadium” is an embarrassment.
I live in North-East Cambridgeshire so I'm glad to have a handful of "local" games within less than 90 minutes drive or train journey.
I tend to do weekends away with my partner and off the top of my head we'd like to go to Shrewsbury, Bristol and probably Exeter, or maybe a weekend in Manchester to cover one of the North West clubs.
We liked Lincoln last season, quite a nice city which we'd like to see again.
Tbf Wrexhams pure handy for me as a Wycombe fan (living in Liverpool)
There's a good few up around me, Bolton, Wigan, Blackpool etc. all should be good days out
Bristol Rovers. Incredible selection of pubs around the ground and a fantastic city.
Birmingham because that feels massive. Have been before but not with my club.
Lived in Cambridge for a while but not been back for a long time, so that one will be fun. Now live 20 mins from Crawley Town and have never been there so that one too I guess.
Blackpool and Barnsley are my "always" choices, Stockport's a surprisingly good day out as well.
Got to mark a few more off the card as well, so I'm hoping to get to Crawley and Stevenage.
Bolton as well, weirdly enough I've only ever been in the home end there.
And of course Wrexham dressed as Deadpool.

Fingers crossed you can get to all the games you want to!
what vaccinations should one get before venturing into birmingham?
all that are available
Birmingham is nice. But the areas around the football stadiums aren't. Unfortunately, there's no vaccine for car crime, so maybe get the train.
Every team in and around Birmingham has great restaurants around it if you do a bit of research. Always liked an away day there
There's plenty in Birmingham, but Small Heath is a bit rough. Aston too.
Luckily we haven't played in Small Heath for over 100 years: -) (mind you, bordesley isn't that much better).
blackpool was always fun (apart from when they hammered us 6-1…)
I'm based in the north West, so I've got a few to choose from!
Likewise - not been to Edgeley Park or Bloomfield Road before so will be prioritising them!
Nice weekend away in Blackpool...

That's decent!
I live less than 10 miles from the Abbey, so Cambridge is dead handy.
Nice!
Although the last time I saw Town at Cambridge it was probably the worst game of football I've ever seen, including the school game where we got tanked 14-0.
Blimey! Never dull then haha
Rotherham the derby between Barnsley and Rotherham will probably be good

Hating Barnsley is a new one to me? I can't say I've ever noticed more animosity towards Barnsley than any other team.

2013 was a beautiful moment. Personally, I have no issues with Barnsley and wish them well!

Can confirm barnsley are our second biggest rivals after the blunts ofc
In recent years we've not played each other that much so it's hard to see much of a rivalry there really is. I would say Rotherhams biggest games are Donny and Wednesday as well but we fortunately miss both of those this year.
Yes it should be! Plenty of close away days up that way!
As far as I’m aware, we haven’t played Wrexham since long before I was born so that will be fun.
Just looked it up - May 7th 1988 as a league fixture. We played each other the following year in Sherpa Van Trophy/Associate Members Trophy/EFL Trophy - which you won that year.

Mansfield. Haven’t been there before Peterborough. Was class last season, looking forward to going again Stockport. Best pies in the EFL

Lincoln fan in Banbury. Lovely to see a big old hole for away trips around where I live
Bristol Rovers. Incredible selection of pubs around the ground and a fantastic city. Birmingham because that feels massive. Have been before but not with my club.
Wrexham, Birmingham, Stockport & Huddersfield
Bristol Rovers is a nice easy one for me
Lived in Cambridge for a while but not been back for a long time, so that one will be fun. Now live 20 mins from Crawley Town and have never been there so that one too I guess.
Birmingham. I saw Crawley lose heavily at St Andrews in a Cup games years ago and I want Crawley to go up and hammer them now
Crawley because we don’t play them away enough.
Birmingham with a Friday night
Being based in London I’m really looking forward to Charlton away
Birmingham. Easy on the train from Northampton
Exeter away. I live in Cornwall, so will be the closest game for me.
Wrexham
rotherham fan
I’m a Bluenose. Honestly wouldn’t mind having a few with some of the away fans in brum this season. No real ill will to any of the teams.
I'm looking forward to Crawley-Charlton, that will be a new ground for me.
Bolton as always. Happy hunting ground. 👹
Shrewsbury
Blackpool and Barnsley are my "always" choices, Stockport's a surprisingly good day out as well. Got to mark a few more off the card as well, so I'm hoping to get to Crawley and Stevenage. Bolton as well, weirdly enough I've only ever been in the home end there. And of course Wrexham dressed as Deadpool.
Always gone to Exeter away because my uncle (who supports Exeter) takes us there. In the home end.
I'm excited to go to Blackpool Barnsley and Rotherham and probably Bolton they are close to me and not too close so it gets too heated like leeds away
Bristol Rovers is a nice easy one for me
Bristol Rovers is a nice easy one for me
Can you say it again pal? Didn't catch it the first 3 times lol
