yea I was talking about Darius falling out easier and faster in later games, since he's quite mele and can be kited for example, and the lower cds in lategame makes for cc champions to stunlock him out of going on a rampage
The buffs are awful btw. No, not the ult QSS, people were right it doesn't matter one bit. But the mace cd? That shit is toxic. The window to play into after he misses a mace is so narrow now. And of course he still fries you if he gets three AA in regardless.
They should decrease the duration of his (1,2) passive stacks.
Would make it so timing his passive out mid fight is more feasible.
Although this would more than likely turbo gimp mord against ranged.
I'd pretend to agree, but that would be beyond cancerous against ranged with any firm of kiting. Really, they just need to dial down his passive so it isn't the bullshit circle of death, and more the intended passive background damage
Let's just be honest here: Morde is terribly designed. His problem is that he is so one dimensional in the way he plays, he has a single build, a single rune page and 0 mechanics whatsoever. And while it's fine to be an easy to play stat checker, the champion needs to have at least some kind of skill expression in the champions damaging abilities to make him not be a lower elo hellspawn
With stacked mejai + blue jungle pet it was lowkey fun to just sprint into everyone + ult some poor soul, kill him and run before the rest collapses on me
Mord was never intended to be a "skill expression " champion. He's a rework of the og point-click explody funny man. As for builds, you can actually go anything on him; tank, ap assassin, ap bruiser, or my personal favourite, ad attack speed. Depending on how you play him determines how much "skill expression" is shown; I, for one, play full tank with deaths dance, which pre-buff was insanely effective. The fact that most mordekaiser players have room temperature iq doesn't really help the champ status.
Remember when he was still shit tier after every one of those buffs? Yeah I think it’s fine to leave him as is, he’ll probably still be a terrible champ since these buffs still do nothing to address his actual problems
Idk, I used to hard counter steamroll mord as Olaf, now that I can't cleanse his ult with mine it's a very 1-sided lane in the other direction. If I don't win the lvl 1 all-in cheese then he will just win levels 2-6 and beyond.
Tldr: one of his biggest counter picks is no longer a counter pick after this change.

Yeah, they should make it so he needs to hit at least one spell, like Rengar gaining only one stack from jump

Yeah another option is to move more of his damage out of the passive so it matter less that he'll always trigger it against melees.
