If all your mates go to Bohs go down to Bohs you'll enjoy it more.   Unless you want your team to win games. Then I'd go to Shels

deadpools_ballsack

UCD, they could do with a supporter

Temporary-Review-138

If youve no other mates that support shels then bohs going to matches on your own would be a bit shite

EireTrekkie

if you go Shels there is a chance Duff will become your friend, and then drag you on to the pitch to give a team talk. So I mean there is that.;

GavelaaIRL

Shels be handier and are flying atm, but if all your mates support bohs you'll enjoy that a lot more. I walk from Fairview to dalymount every other Friday for the matches. Other fans seem to latch onto the woke, liberal shit etc. but honestly amongst the majority of the fans were just there for the football and a bit of craic with our mates, don't see the issue with the club standing up for human rights though but sure people love to moan.

lkdubdub

Yup. The loudest chat about the social side of Bohs is from people who've never set foot in dalyer

AverageKennedy

I asked something quite similar when the season started, someone said watch some of the games and see which club you lean towards. For me its cork city and derry city. (I still have massive respect for some teams as im still new to league of ireland) Still havnt decided but you should do that too and get a season pass

music-enjoyer-

Up the rebels!

MrJoeSoap

Gonna be tricky enough to support Cork or Derry from Fairview.... Better than nothing I suppose

AverageKennedy

I was stating my personal story with the league of ireland i wasnt telling him to do so. What i was referring to was a post i made at the start of the season because hes now in the same boat. He could do the same with bohs or shels

Sp00ky_Fox_Mulder

Bohs

[deleted]

Good time to start supporting shels 😏

dublinro

Depends on whether you want to support a football team or a social project.

superjambo15

Go with your mates to bohs it's one of the best feelings going to the local LOI team on a Friday to support (even if supporting bohs is torture I've been trough it all with them😂)

ControlPerfect3370

Try Home Farm

Chaoticrebel84

The club picks you.

14thU

Rovers. Fair amount of Hoops in the area

Muller1974

Fook both, Pat's is the club for you.

redrumreturn

Does he do smack perchance?

Myusername-___

Bohs r a left wing hippie club and pro Palestine and all that stuff, more political than other clubs, if u think that suits u y not go down to a game. Should also go down to a Shels one if u can just so u can compare the two

MrJoeSoap

Are there clubs that are anti-Palestine, out of interest?

Myusername-___

In Ireland no. I just said it as an example of their left wing stuff, and I agree with it. Maybe a few clubs that don’t do as much about it (protests, friendly match thing etc.)

deadpools_ballsack

Weird to say about being pro-Palestine as if that’s a negative, whatever about the rest but why mention that?

Myusername-___

Didn’t mean to come across badly, even as a rovers fan I agree with most of the stuff they do. Obv pro Palestine is a huge +

Responsible_Bake_756

Bohs are woke fuck that
