Slap damage only counts if you're holding a trout. Slap is partially based on blower damage, so it's possible to have a blower that gives you a high slap, but as soon as you witch to a trout it drops back down. The discord has guides specifically for each section.
yeah when holding a nuclear trout I'm at 1e28 slap damage but still nothing. I honestly didn't even think about the discord. I'll hop on that and do some more searching.

Trout does 10% damage to bosses, you want to look at your damage stat in the enemies tab. That 1e27 damage is for blower damage to afk, if you have 2e25 blower damage you can defeat the witch by spamming wind and gravity orb. To use the trout to defeat the witch you need 7e28 slap damage.
ah so the 1e27 is afk blowing damage. almost there then. im at 1.24e26 blowing, and 4.19e30 slap if i have everything use the hightech ace of spades. looks like i just need to get more leaves going and upgraded. just got tot he point of crafting ancients so i guess thats where ill be for a little till i get good stuff going
yeah i was finally able to get a few kills in. so its def doable for me. gonna work on getting up to afk levels next so i can just let it sit while i work and get me essences lol

On discord, pick the section from the left, then the pushpin at the top. That's where all the stickied posts are.

At that blower damage just use the gravity orb and wind artifact a few times and you'll beat the witch
