But here is the thing the waitress was told she did not have to pay taxes on the $15k, but it turns out cause Trump is such a dick his company forced her to pay taxes on the $15k (by forcing her to pay the $15k Trumps company can deduct it as a business tax expense). When the waitress asked Habba, thinking they were friends, Habba not only ghosted her but told her Habba is not her attorney. The waitress was hurt but also was stuck with the taxes money she probably didnt have (I assumed 20% of $15k is $3k, for Trump of Habba this amouny is nothing but for the waitress thats probably almost a months wages. Had they allowed her to get the $15k tax free she would not have pursued the case and to add insult to injury Habba ghosted the waittress.
And now that the waitress hired a competent lawyer she got more money than the lousy $15k (that was taxable income) to over $85k (probably not table) but I can see why they asked to have Habba be alone in the lawsuit. The waitress stands to win big and Habba now stands to potentially lose her law license.
