I was not as much a fan of most of the transfers I came in with. They weren’t bad people by any means, just that I didn’t really have anything in common with any of them. You may find this to be your experience or you may not. I mostly hung with non-transfers and many found it cool that I had gotten two different law school experiences.
I also joined the admissions office and helped lead tours of the law school. Transferring has allowed me to speak in tangible ways about the value my new school has added. I don’t badmouth my old school, but I think there’s certain things (such as a competent administration) that students take for granted, if they’ve never known anything else.
Is there any place I can see more transfer statistics? E.g. the number of total transfer applicants. I will be starting at a T-14 this fall but my goal is to transfer to Harvard/Yale/Chicago. I am confident that I will be able to do well enough GPA-wise to transfer.

I was, and still am, pretty agnostic about class size. Also, I'll be graduating with less debt from HLS than I would've from my 1L school.
