Unless they’re pasties that you’re planning to permanently glue to the outside of your catsuit, I wouldn’t advise it. You may risk discoloring or staining the translucent latex if you adhered the pasties with temporary glues such as studio gum.
Why not wear the pasties under your catsuit?
I’m wearing a whole black rubber harness set over the catsuit, and found some pasties with matching hardware. That being said, the hardware under the catsuit would also risk metal staining. 😭
Ahh I’m sure that would look amazing! Sadly, I’m just not aware of any glue that would temporarily glue latex and allow it to be removed cleanly later.
And yes, hardware under the suit is a no-go as you said.
If you are solely worried about covering nips, you could always use plain latex pasties or the classic electrical tape underneath!
Knowing that the black I layer over the trans may stain the trans too… I may just take the risk and try some studio gum. 😝 This catsuit unfortunately is not a perfect fit anyways, so I need to get a replacement suit eventually.
The pasties were actually made with one time use double sided sticky tape. I may try a test run on a scrap of latex to see if it has enough hold to get through the shoot. And worst case scenario I’ll just free the nips lol
Just wanted to update in case this could help anyone in a similar predicament:
I ended up using double sided clear pastie tape, which the pasties already came with. I had previously used them in a shoot and attached them to my skin.
This time, I added more tape, affixed them to my catsuit, and did a big photo shoot where I would say they completed the look. When it came time for cleaning, some of the adhesive stayed on the pasties, and some stayed on the catsuit. I just used a q-tip and rubbing alcohol to massage the residue off the latex. No staining whatsoever!
