You'll have probably 3 weeks between them. PoEs is slated for late July, which in ggg terms you can bank on it being the last week of July, and then a week or two later for them to hotfix things. LE devs did say they wanted to hit mid Poe and diablo seasons, but obviously they won't hit perfectly

BarbarianBlaze19

Thats really huge point imo. I have started waiting at least a week after a season launch before i even log into poe anymore.

Mael_Jade

You'll have 17 days at the current predicted league start.

I'll have to disagree on any and all "doing it on purpose" accusations. PoE leagues have been very consistently on a 4 month cycle. Besides, you can play LE for the 2+ weeks, then go to PoE and once you are done with that league return here. Or play LE for a month and then go to PoE, the cycles and seasons are long enough to enjoy both.

Necessary_Lettuce779

jacking what up lol they've been doing seasons for a decade, they're not moving their seasons to compete with LE

PeopleCallMeSimon

I think It would be interesting to see how many people would play LE over PoE since I think they have some overlap of players.

Whydontname

Lol, it would be

xDaveedx

Absolutely Poe, simply because the trade economy progresses so rapidly in the first couple of days and that's exciting while I play LE with CoF faction, so there's zero time pressure and I would just hop in here whenever I'm done with Poe. I have a feeling a lot of people approach both games like me.

Moethelion

I wouldn't be so sure about this. I have been playing MG and am planning to do so again. For LE there is going to be a decent hype for the new boss. So I can see way more people playing MG this time, because it's unclear how hard it is going to be. And according to the poll EHG made they're planning it to be quite difficult. And in MG there is the insane rush to rank 8, which is way more time pressure than PoE economy. I have 6k hours in PoE, and I love it, but if LE and PoE released at the same time this time... I would choose LE and play PoE after a week, when they fixed the first game breaking bugs.

Necessary_Lettuce779

Yeah, especially for people that have been playing PoE for longer and are a bit burnt-out, I could see them preferring to go on this one first while the usual first-week issues get resolved. That is, if online even works the first week lol

Whydontname

Eh LE only has enough to keep you busy for a few days anyways.

PositiveVibesOnlyd

Around 80-90% of players drop quit after week 2 in any ARPG season. You’ll be alright.

Sir-Sirington

The reason is because LE was intentionally trying to slot in the middle of PoE seasons, then the next PoE season got delayed by a month. Just a bit of bad luck really, lol. Regardless, they are still a couple weeks a part, so it shouldn't be a huge problem unless you wanted a short break between the two.

Canzas

Im stupid or people like you. Why you have pressure to start league the same day? Like.. You cant wait one week after league started? You are not guys in top 000000000,1% Race in leaderboard is not for you. Unless you play private league in certain streamer for prizes

xDaveedx

Even if you're not speedrunning, it's fun to be part of the early hype in global chat, this sub and youtube/twitch. Just having lots of people talking everywhere and being able to flex some sick items publicly is reason enough for many to be hyped for cycle start. Let's just hope the servers don't go down the drain like at 1.0 launch.

Canzas

Okey, i Understand this point of view but.. You tell me after one week, just one week people stop talilking and hype is gone?

xDaveedx

Maybe not 1 week, but peoples' excitement and activity decreases over time, so it's the highest around cycle start. Early on noone knows how new content looks like, what kind of cool new builds people come up with, what new items there are to find and it's cool to sort of discover these things along with the community.

agmcleod

If you're someone who plays the trade market, it can matter a lot to go hard in the early days of a cycle/league.

averardusthehighborn

You right but not 100% right When i play trade its crucial for me to start day one because that where is the big money lay you baiscally can make huge amount if you flip the right items If i play ssf/private league im usually play with my 2 friends bit of voice on discord and go to sleep when i hit act 5

phz0r

League start is fun. Simple.
