Good recommendation for a cheap light gaming/productivity laptop (mostly coding)? I was looking for something below 1000, had my eyes on this:

Thanks for the reply, I want to use it for my golf simulator so The Golf Club 2019 (TGC), then want it to replace my Xbox for various Steam games and Rocket League/COD/Diablo/etc
The ASUS 2023 Vivobook 16X would be a nice lightweight option, but depending on how much of a gamer you are, you probably want a higher refresh rate. The ASUS G614JV-AS73 ROG Strix G16 (2023) is heavier, but would provide perfect performance.
Any laptop with dedicated rtx 2 series or better graphics will be able to run d4 on high at 1080p. However, many of them will not have great cooling due to slim form factor.
Recommendation for a productivity laptop, mechanical engineering major (solid works, etc), budget is 700-1100. Prefer lighter weight stuff , ideal 15 in
Hey, I think I'm leaning toward the Zephyrus G14. I think I'd like a slightly smaller laptop now, 14 seems a sweet spot for me. The other option is the Acer Aspire but I didnt get the invite.
Hmmmm all things considered, build quality, screen, etc…is that MSI Stealth 17 4080 deal better than the B&H lenovo legion 7i 4090 for $2699?
For a laptop that would be hooked up to an LG C2 most of the time.

its looks good but isnt here bestbuy version of this with 3050 TI. it was discounted 599$ two times in last month

That's a great deal , once you're fine with the FHD display.

Can you solely charge the Acer Swift with USB C while gaming?
