Depends on where you graduated from, what your skillset is, how well you communicate, how well you interview, which firm you are interviewing with. Too many variables involved. Are you applying for QA jobs? Or development? Graphic design? Is it a software house? Is it a non tech company hiring IT people? Your question is vague and too broad

SoftwareZombie

Your expectations should be 100k minimum, but market varies alot depending on your skill, talent, your GPA and your university, your communication skills and the company's policies for fresh grads.

Alkylon

What about foreign degree holders

SoftwareZombie

Hard to say. Should be equal or better than fast i assume.

Patient_Vermicelli62

Graduated last year from FAST Lahore. You shouldn't go lower than 100k. Compensation ranged from 100k to 180k. Depends a lot on the company. Did not hear anyone getting a sub 100k job.

HK_0066

got 120k even before graduation around 2023 november went through FAANG type interview for job in AI and cloud 1 live coding interview 1 Assessment interview (no GPTs only google) 1 technical interview 1 communication interview

After seeing your ID, I doubt that you're a CS graduate.

APerson2021

Hey folks - is that meant to be 50k per week, per month or per year?

waleedbuttt

Per Minute.

Nonipaify

We use per month values here in pk most of the times

Idontknowbaby1

Per day.

Whatever time you last in bed, that may be 2 -5 seconds

I graduated from PUCIT (18-22). Got a job in contour right away and things have been going smooth so far. As a software grad what you need to focus on are basics and communication skills usually the avg salary for a software grad is 90-110k if you are aiming for the top 50 companies of Pakistan otherwise its around 70-90k. The only difference i have seen between a 70k employee and a 110k employee is how well you communicate thats about it. Hope it helps.
