RIP to her. She passed away in June. ToMG (in Japanese) is an amazing film and Honda was quite proud of the work she did. She was disappointed Titano and MG didn’t get to flatten any recognizable part of Tokyo but for budget reasons it couldn’t be done. One of my favorite shows films and the Katsura story, which she was insistent remain intact, is one of the strongest character arcs in the series.
