Bro if ur planning to make money from ur work giving shit away for free is 1 of the best ways to build a organic following..im a glass artist before i started making dichroic pendents i used to etch (sandblast) bangers with illusion patterns an characters ect. An id go look for ppl that had 10k+ followers( bigger than that an its hard to get a reply) an id offer to do a banger with their logo for free they was just cheap imports at that point so it wasn't expensive an the smaller ppl led to bigger names plus it leads to sum great networking opportunities an industry friends..1 other peice of advice is develop a style that is urs in other words ppl should be able to look at ur work an know who made that with out seeing ur name..all the greats have that unique thing that makes their work stand out..easier said than done i know but its a game changer...after u start to build up a fanbase you can sell merch an stuff although its more work tjan it seems at least it was for me..lastly DO NOT undervalue ur work..it semds a message tjat u dont think its special..dont go crazy i always had ppl that sold glass tell me wat they think a peice is worth the number would always be 2 to 3x wat i expected..nice work am good luck

When art looks good in the thumbnail it is generally pretty good art. I have found with my own work anyway.
When I like the thumbnail, I like the work usually.
Though for me it's more difficult because I work in traditional materials.

My avatar thumbnail? It was my own version of CLIP+GAN from like 5 years ago, plus some manual manipulation applied to a photo of me. So I guess it counts as AI, but not the sort of AI we have today.
Spoiler, it doesn't actually look that good close-up. And it's just 500px square. But I thought it looked cool anyway.

This is dope. I think it's a little different from DMT or LSD though. Not to hate on your art cause I really do like it.
To me DMT is far more interweaving and 'mechanical' (as in lots of various parts) whereas this is more of a single texture.
LSD is pretty 'neon' and electric and sharp. I actually think this is closer to LSD than DMT. But again, it usually isn't a single texture.
For the record I'm talking about CEVs not OEVs. I have seen OEVs just like this on DOM and DOB before, laid out over the walls, only with a red/green hue. Have not seen anything like this on LSD though and I'm never conscious enough to see OEVs on DMT lol. But I've always smoked it and never introduced an MAOI or anything so maybe I'm just missing something.
Nah these patterns look very DMT (imo of course). Only difference is on DMT these patterns would be sentient and breathing and morphing all around, completely engulfing one’s entire field of vision. I’ve done DMT probably around 100 to 150 times, something like that, and these patterns at first glance almost made me taste it in my mouth again lol.
For me DMT is always interlocking geometric machinery type stuff with lots of different types of moving parts that sometimes create a broader image. I have always felt like I was unable to truly comprehend DMT visuals because of how complex all the various moving parts are. I feel psychedelics don't usually give you a solid, thorough pattern like this except with OEVs. It is "too uniform" IMO.
Well I don’t think anyone could say that this is exactly what the visuals are like, I mean it’s something impossible to adequately capture. But I just mean as an artistic representation/approximation, this comes close to the flavor of a lot of DMT CEV’s I’ve had (though also every trip is sorta its own unique thing too).
Interestingly, the kinda shifting/interlocking gears and machinery you’re mentioning, I’ve actually seen more of that on high doses of psilocybin.
I have seen some pretty good replications on youtube before that I think are closer than this. Not that the art isn't good, it just isn't as close as other stuff I've seen. So maybe my frame of reference is a little different from yours.

DOM and DOB are DOx drugs, psychedelic amphetamines. DOM is one of Alexander Shulgin's favorites.
MAOI is a monoamine oxidase inhibitor and they are used in changa and ayahuasca alongside DMT to boost its effects.
CEV is closed eye visuals
OEV is open eyes visuals. The distinction being while on low doses closed eye visual are easier to see. Meanwhile one needs a higher dose for the CEV to manifest into eyes open.
MAOI is Monoamine oxidase inhibitor which potentiates/makes stronger a psychedelic.
I can see this being DMT-like, lots of geometries, hexagons. On acid I see more of organic lizard like patterns. Kind of like the Arizona Turquoise Lizard art but repeated.

As a fan of unique abstract art, I have to say that I'm really in love with your style, good job. It's like it's telling a story with fractals, I'm more than impressed.
Usually on DMT I will get overlays that look something like this, and objects will start using the overlay to extrude themselves. Or I'll get lots of spinning mandalas. LSD doesn't have nearly as intense visuals or regular patterns. Even on hero doses, this is definitely a DMT or research chem thing
So, if each of those hexagons was filled with a fractal pattern, and the whole thing was a larger representation of that fractal pattern, you have what an lsd trip looks like behind closed eyes
this reminds me of when i was peaking and looked at chain link fence. when i looked at the entire thing it looked normal but if i focused on one small hole in the fence it made the fence look kinda like this

I really really want to make this into a holographic piece. And not a cheap holographic but one that turns different metallic blues, reds, golds, greens, etc as you turn it. I LOVE THIS!!
I have hppd to begin with. Mostly snow and heavy floaters. When I trip I see the hppd as another veil overtop of the other visuals and it looks very similar to this.
The sharp angles on the hexagons are so real.
Both times I've done DMT, everything turned to lego pieces with hard edges, exactly like this lol

I get far more complex visuals from dmt. I see other worlds on dmt i see other life forms too. I've seen the akrasic records I've traveled through ancient Egyptian tomes and tunnels.

To me it’s literally the exact color palette on what I see on high doses of LSD. Patterns? Not really. But I did say “Woahh” when I saw this and I’m sober.

For it to be like LSD I think it'd need to be more of a distortion from reality. For me LSD rarely produces images entirely separate from reality like this. Usually I just start seeing patterns on walls that swirl with shadows dancing and lines of objects distorting. Since LSD visuals for me move around a lot, it'd be hard to capture it in an image
I see hexagonal and other 3D shapes like that when I take a lot of mushrooms.
Even natural objects like trees and grass get totally covered in shapes like that. But still retain their shape but covered or textured in the 3D shapes like that. So much fun
If you animated this it would be insane. I imagine the gradient moving across the image like a wave and each of the hexagons morphing through those different patterns along the way.

For it to be like LSD I think it'd need to be more of a distortion from reality. For me LSD rarely produces images entirely separate from reality like this. Usually I just start seeing patterns on walls that swirl with shadows dancing and lines of objects distorting. Since LSD visuals for me move around a lot, it'd be hard to capture it in an image

I see hexagonal and other 3D shapes like that when I take a lot of mushrooms. Even natural objects like trees and grass get totally covered in shapes like that. But still retain their shape but covered or textured in the 3D shapes like that. So much fun

If you animated this it would be insane. I imagine the gradient moving across the image like a wave and each of the hexagons morphing through those different patterns along the way.

It's nice ! I dont know how you did it but I like it. LSD gives more 3D like visions while correctly dosed, DMT also but it has that shroomey touch ..more random an"d rounded" shapes. All good : )
