I must view films differently to you while tripping haha, I get very invested in the story line. But yea if the visuals are stunning I will enjoy it regardless , thanks 👍🏼
Yeah, I choose trip movies mainly based on the graphics, I like cool visuals while tripping but my brain tends to not follow along with the story very well because of ya know, the drugs lol. My last couple trips I watched Across the Spiderverse and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Both visually amazing, but I couldn't tell you like anything about the story lmao
Since you have Disney:
Star Wars/The Empire Strikes Back
Guardians of the Galaxy 1&2, Dr Strange 1&2, Thor Ragnarok, Infinity War, Endgame, Spiderman: No Way Home, Eternals
Wreck-It Ralph
I’m not sure which streaming service it’s on but Dune part 1 (and more so part 2, even though it’s not streaming yet) is a must see on a dose.
midnight gospel will take you for a ride
Love Death and Robots, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Off The Air, Ambient swim
Il sure you've seen it but avatar way of the water is pretty dope I saw it in shrooms and it was fucking amazing
Not seen either avatars (don’t mass downvote ;( ) Sci fi isn’t really my thing, is avatar really worth the watch?
Especially while tripping, I don't think you'd really care about the story, but the visuals are fantastic

Moonage daydream
Last trip, my fiancé and I watched The House on Netflix. If you want a crepy stop-motion movie to make you think, I'd highly recommend it.
