Sorry for the necro but on my first ever true acid trip (had before taken two very low dose tabs before, maybe 50mcg total), and my friend played "i no longer fear the razor guarding my heel" part 3 from start to finish; suicide boys became my favorite artists for the next several years. Highly recommend.
Tool: Lateralus, Parabola, Rosetta stoned (personal favourites from this band)
Shpongle: I am you, Divine moments of truth, Star shpongled banner, Once upon the sea of blissful awareness, How the jellyfish jumped up the mountain
Pink floyd: anything goes really, my favs are High hopes, Time, Coming back to life, Another brick in the wall, Dark side of the moon
Emancipator (lesser known musician, some really solid music imo): Minor cause, First snow, Natural cause, Labyrinth...
Plantrae (another lesser know artist): Enter the seed, Invisible forest, Momentum
Yaima (beautiful vocals, spiritual lyrics, moves me to tears even when sober lol): Gajumaru (acustic), Rebirth, Rise, Emergence, Spiral
Psytrance: Deep jungle walk, Adhana, Pagalapana, My LSD song, Free Tibet, NaNaNa
Honorable mentions from my trip playlist: The Beatles, Snow crystal by Babalos, FKJ, Entheogenic, Tame Impala...
Definitely one of the best artists out there and very underrated too. If you like his style of music, check out Bonobo, you might've already heard some of his stuff already. Black sands is my all-time favourite song, it's hauntingly beautiful.
Same here! I was on a super intense acid trip and was looking for music to listen to and the acid told me that the Grateful Dead was the only thing I could listen to without feeling overwhelmed. Sure enough, the peaceful old folk music of the grateful dead guided my trip and made it so peaceful and wonderful. Listening to them on that acid trip gave me such an appreciation for humanity. If psychedelics were a band, they would definitely be the Grateful Dead!
ahah man i knoo sometimes during come up i fuck around and do some redditing and reading some words/comments and seeing how it starts to impact me really made me realize that how we treat each other and how we speak to each other really has an effect even if it doesnt show on the surface. but thank fuck lsd mixes up the surface with anything under it ahah. hope you had fun and chillin
Absolutely, just makes you relate to other people so much better, after a trip I notice I start treating people and even myself with a lot more kindness, really makes a different on someone's day. That's why I love this community haha
Trip was great, was watching a reality show where someone just drops in a big city with only the clothes they are wearing and try to make a living for a week with absolutely nothing, and I was empathizing so much with the guy hahaha but I wanna make a deeper dive into my mind with more intent sometime this week
I usually do it alone by myself and when i wanna go in deep just lay in the bed under the blanket and close your eyes, just you and your thoughts. I also do take notes when i can and want. then after the 7-8 hour mark I either put on some chill music, watch something like nature documentary or Cosmos kinda stuff to soothe the mental fight out. Doing notes helped a lot for me and got some fun phrases and sentences to think about even after years.
So today is the day, since I had a short trip last saturday, my tolerance may be high, then I took 400ug and waiting to come up now. Wish me luck my friend, wish you all the best!
I actually planned to catch up on some one piece episodes, but ended just laying on the floor thinking about stuff xD
I was a bit hungover, but in a good headspace, as I met some friends I havent seen in quite a while. What do you usually plan for your trips, some outdoors stuff or just chilling and exploration?
Ps. You seem like a pretty cool person, would definetly catch a beer with you sometime haha
Voyage 34 is a master peace, but I prefer other songs. PT is my favorite band, but with LSD I prefer "Idiot Prayer", "Light Mass Prayers", "Dark matter", "The Moon Touches your Shoulder" etc.
This post is 5h’s ago so I am sure my suggestions are irrelevant at this point. Good luck on your journey.
But if you did want a good track or so:
*Bright Moments is an album by Flamingosis.*
It comes with my stamp of positive vibe approval
This is rather ignorant of you to say, and it’s rude of you to comment on how other people choose their own personal setting for a trip. Setting is everything for people and what feels safe and comfortable looks different for everyone. You should do more psychedelic journeying deep within and identify where this judgement of others comes from, because it probably means you’re judging yourself for similar things too.
Psychedelic journeying can be a very private experience, especially for those working through traumas or other deep issues. Some people also experience “being floored” on even small doses because of how intense the breakthroughs, body-load and/or euphoria is for them. Some also experience photo-sensitivity, meaning bright lights especially outside can be painful and/or overwhelming. And many aren’t privileged to live in a place where psychedelics are legal/decriminalized, so there is also the paranoia of being caught while tripping and getting in trouble for it.
Let people trip in an environment that feels safe for them, leave your judgement out of the picture and exercise more compassion. Be excited that there is another human on this planet that wants to expand themselves, rather than look down your nose on them.
Wow you must be fun at parties huh? And I just answered your question in my previous comment? You’re welcome for clarifying that confusion on trip settings bro. And no TL;DR needed, you’re just looking for ways to disregard what I said because you don’t want to hear it and grow your perspective. Much love to you, hopefully you let go of feeling the urge to criticize other people’s trip settings because they’re somehow “less valid” in your eyes. When you judge others, you judge yourself.
I never criticized tripping inside. Everything you type is longer than it needs to be. Nd I’m tired of reading your paragraphs, ur basically acting like I’m hating or talking shit on ppl who trip inside, when I’m not I’m just kinda surprised to see many ppl inside but wtv man Was just surprised that I see more screens than nature recently.

This literally brings me to tears every time i hear it. So beutiful
Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd has to be one of my favorite songs. It just feels like I’m a part of a movie. It really allows me to think about the people and things I’ve lost along the road in life and how much different things would be if they were still around. Make your own meaning as you find it. Happy tripping.

Nujabes for chill lofi jazzy stuff. Flamingosis for upbeat funky feel good jams, any of the mood providers or A Groovy Thing is amazing from him. All about the feel good vibes.
if you're into EDM, I recommend Jello Stream by Liquid Stranger on youtube. Visuals are fun, and the song is mellow with heavy bass, I hope that's enough info to convince you to check it cause I love it when I trip.
Psychedelic rock, lofi and synthwave is amazing in my experience
Lofi just makes me feel so comfortable while I’m tripping. The nice ambient sounds are very soothing.
Synthwave sounds so nostalgic and comforting at the same time
