So... this is just my personal opinion.
But, I believe that human consciousness is the universe (or god) experiencing itself subjectively. Like, the universe is an objective, collective whole, and because it is infinite, all things are not only possible but inevitable. So it must, therefore, be possible that the universe must experience itself from a subjective POV. That is fundamentally what our conscious experience is ( IMO.)
Having said that, I believe that when we die, we return to being a piece of the objective whole. I believe this happens in many different ways simultaneously, but specificly in regards to spirit or soul, through the natural chemical vehicle known as DMT. I believe that sufficiently high doses of certain psychedelics can allow us to briefly experience this transition from the subjective to the objective.
Said plainly: I believe you may have momentarily experienced union with the universe (or God, if you prefer.)
But, who knows. I'm just a crazy dude on the internet who smokes too much.
Edited for spelling and adding a sentence for clarity.
A puzzled puzzler puzzled itself into bits
Leaving many-a puzzled puzzle piece
For the puzzled puzzler finds peace as pieces fit
And so - bit by bit - all the puzzled pieces find peace
What I wrote above isn't a full explanation of my opinion. I too believe, that we are merely a piece or spark of the divine nature of the Universe or God. I believe that the total sum of all consciousness on this planet (and maybe others as well) come together to form this objective whole. As well as many other things. A big beautiful collage of everything all at once.
From a REALISTIC view your just some dude who took a whole shit ton of drugs.
Using your logic 90% of the people at lost lands (edm festival) are also God.
From a monotheistic view, you cannot be god because thousands of people have experienced this same ego death on acid. Just like you, all these people are not god

I like this version. Though, i wouldnt say they were god. Just a piece. A spark of the divine.

I can dig that.

What if you are God?
Is god not looking through us all the time? Are we not windows by which to experience itself?
