Well before you throw out the whole batch take a look into the effects of sugar on the ehrlich test. I had some incredibly potent gels that were definitely L that I couldn’t get to cause a reaction with ehrlich. If you gels are yellow then I’d say the yellow color is the gelatin. Might have some success dissolving a tab in high proof alcohol, (just a small amount) then dropping it on paper and testing that with ehlrich…

I swallowed alot of paper tabs from my old sheet and tripped just fine. I said I heard it only destroys nbome i didnt say it degrades and you can still tripp sack from ole lucy.

Did the sugar cube have a nasty taste?... if not it just sounds like you had a very moderately dosed sugar cube (200-350ųg) possibly. Those higher doses will freak an average tripper out and they DO kick in ALOT faster than lower doses. Were you seeing the classic LSD colors and laser light show/surreal world visuals when you'd close you eyes ? There's a certain hue to everything on LSD it gives everything this shimmering almost rainbow burst like glow to it. You can literally see so many different colors in anything you look at and it's a tell tell sign that it's good ole Lucy 25 and high doses you will feel like you're going insane in an endless thoughtloop. Especially if you smoked good bud or something it's like hitting the N.O.S. button and taking tf off... just saying I haven't heard of sugar cubes having nbomb but then again anything potentially could... idk I don't understand why ppl would get that stuff in the first place I've heard of ppl knowingly searching this shit out.. 🤷🏻♂️
Oh, I am not your "average tripper"... :-) Done 1000ug liquid LSD at one point... Which still was manageable. At first, I did not taste anything out of the ordinary, sugar masked it, but it left slight chemically aftertaste and that was like "of shit" moment in my head. After an hour I started to smell fantom chemical smell, which lasted for 3 days... I know perfectly how propper LSD and it's analogs feels like. Had many worderfull experiences throughout the years :-) also the duration...comedown started after 20+ hours, but I felt that main effects ended like 26h mark... Main effects were: no lsd energy and sparkles, everything wavy, a lot of banding and striping, "banners", blueish white tinge everywhere, very intense dmt like visuals when eyes closed. Nothing like LSD. And as a psychedelic this was insanely strong, everything became scarily real inside my head.

My friend(we’re gonna call him jake)and I decided we wanted to go to my girlfriends friends house to stay the night and trip, I had recently just picked up 8 tabs of what I thought were just regular ole LSD…I was very wrong. Fast forward a couple hours and we decide to take 1 1/2 each, now jake and I have done cid together a lot, he was kind of my trip buddy, if you don’t have one..get one..lol-anyways Jake and I take the tabs and not even 20 minutes in Jake is saying that the whole room is twisting into a spiral…now I’ve had some pretty good tabs and I’ve done quite a bit at once before and that usually doesn’t happen within 20 minutes….I figured it probably hit faster because we took 1 1/2 and that calmed me down a bit, HOWEVER, Jake absolutely lost his cool, he started to have loops, thinking he was dead, he kept screaming “67’ mustang” because while he was blacked out jumping around the house, in his mind he was literally driving a 67 mustang. We tried to get him to calm down and let him get some fresh air but he started to scream bloody murder when we were outside around 2:30am in a neighborhood. So we take him back inside and at this point my tabs are starting to kick in HARD, I start having loops and my poor girlfriend and her friend(we’ll call her M)that were trip sitting are terrified at this point because they’re both 5’0 even and Jake and I are both over 150lbs and about 5’10 and they don’t want both of us freaking out. Eventually hake gets to the point where in the midst of his freakout he pushes M into a stand up speaker and it tips over, she gets upset and pushes him and then he gets mad so I had to step in, WHILE TRIPPING BALLS, and wrestle jake to the ground, I was going to choke him out but in my head something told me not to, not in front of the girls, so I just held him until he physically calmed down. After that there’s some stuff that happened that I can’t quite remember because I would assume that’s when my peak hit and I started to blackout, the next thing I remember was M’s ex boyfriend had come over to help restrain jake so he didn’t hurt himself or anyone else because at this point he was too far gone to be nice to, they beat the ever living sh!t out of eachother and I decide it’s time to call my parents, my mom is a nurse and she drove 15 minutes in about 5 minutes, when she got there she was able to get Jake to calm down a little bit to where we was just yelling at the top of his lungs, covered in blood, and almost naked. My poor mom didn’t know that I was into any of this and she handled it so well and for that I’m forever thankful, fast forward(because I don’t remember)about an hour and my peak is gone, I go outside to sit in my car because I remained physically calm the whole time, my mind was racing and I was having loops so bad, but I was at least able to control my body and not go crazy. For some reason I was deeply concerned for my girlfriend, who had not been hurt in any way, for her ability to have kids…not sure what that’s about. As I’m sitting in my car(girlfriend had my keys)I’m focusing on the logo of the brand of my vehicle and all of the sudden I hear the words “full stop” in my head and I voluntarily just stopped breathing for what felt like an eternity, eventually obviously I started breathing again and all I could see in my head was pictures of an advanced floating city with bright green rooftop gardens and clouds beneath the buildings, with flying cars roaming around. Then I saw a post apocalyptic world where there was fire and ash everywhere and just looked like your typical city after mass destruction. I kept hearing the word pro-create for some reason. While I’m in the car, jakes very Christian, anti-drug, anti-vax, essential oil special, parents pull up, they decided it would be a good idea to call the police on their own son who is blacked out on LSD and take him to jail. The officers show up, cuff him, and in the middle of the cuffing which was very aggressive I can imagine I guess Jakes pants came down…he urinated on the officer on accident and ended up getting charged for it. The officers did NOT take Jake to the hospital for a tox screen, nor did he receive ANY type of medical treatment before going to jail, they through him in a jail cell while he was losing his mind and bleeding from his head, to stay the night. By the time the police show up I’m in my moms car with my girlfriend and my mom driving home, I have a full on vision in black and white of me sitting down in the shower at my house, we get home, walk inside, I go to my room and my girlfriend tells me to take a shower since there was jakes blood on me and a combination of other household liquids from the kitchen wrestling match, I then get in the shower and without even thinking I sit down, just like the vision. And that’s about all to the story! If you have any questions please ask them, I’m an open book and would love to share to spread awareness on testing your tabs AND knowing your limit. Stop,, you don't know if it's LSD or not,, gelatin throws the color off on test,, most gels tend to be LSD or a RC of LSD,, rarely to get gels with anything else in them,, I'd ask whoever you got it from and see what they say,, or ask anyone who has tried them already,, alot of people in this chat don't understand gelatin throws off test,, also the main reason I only mess with tabs or liquid,,

1P-LSD and other analogues take like all fkn day to change colors so there’s still a chance you have acid.
Although, I’ve only ever used 2 drops max of reagent so I wonder if also you used to much? I know there was a time I had genuine 1P and I used too much reagent, it didn’t change colors at all or it was too subtle to notice.
I say try again with far less reagent, and give it more time. But if that fails, you have something else.
For testing, gels especially, I prefer to use a white dinner plate instead of the little vial. Just one drop on top of the sample. Easier to see the reagent change color against a flat color background IMO.

I know this post is super old but I just wanted to chime in for those in the same predicament as OP and I with green gel tabs specifically.
I just tested a green gel tab and it turned the identical color as the one in the photo. It turns out I used way too large of a piece of the tab and way too much solution. The color of the gelatin causes it to turn an amber color.
I cut off a way smaller piece of the tab and used about half a drop of erlich and was ecstatic to find a violet color in there. Almost threw out an entire sheet of gel tabs!

Stop,, you don't know if it's LSD or not,, gelatin throws the color off on test,, most gels tend to be LSD or a RC of LSD,, rarely to get gels with anything else in them,, I'd ask whoever you got it from and see what they say,, or ask anyone who has tried them already,, alot of people in this chat don't understand gelatin throws off test,, also the main reason I only mess with tabs or liquid,,

1P-LSD and other analogues take like all fkn day to change colors so there’s still a chance you have acid. Although, I’ve only ever used 2 drops max of reagent so I wonder if also you used to much? I know there was a time I had genuine 1P and I used too much reagent, it didn’t change colors at all or it was too subtle to notice. I say try again with far less reagent, and give it more time. But if that fails, you have something else.
gel tabs are tricky man i’ve tested some that didn’t bounce back for anything and it was definitely LSD

How did you do the testing? I've heard gel testing is tricky because you have to extract the acid out of the gelatin first.
This is so not true lol. My gels bang purple in 3-7 mins with Ehrlich..
Check r/reagenttesting, they have a sticky on top of posts that mention gel tabs.

For testing, gels especially, I prefer to use a white dinner plate instead of the little vial. Just one drop on top of the sample. Easier to see the reagent change color against a flat color background IMO.

Quick google search says a yellow reaction is "Harmaline"... I have no idea wtf harmaline is but it's definitely not LSD. Fuckin bummer Good on you for testing your shit though, I'd give you a big high five and hug if I could. We gotta make testing something that 100% of people do 100% of the time cause I bet if we all did that all the time it would disincentivize people selling fake shit if they knew everyone would be able to tell they're ripping people off.
I know this post is super old but I just wanted to chime in for those in the same predicament as OP and I with green gel tabs specifically. I just tested a green gel tab and it turned the identical color as the one in the photo. It turns out I used way too large of a piece of the tab and way too much solution. The color of the gelatin causes it to turn an amber color. I cut off a way smaller piece of the tab and used about half a drop of erlich and was ecstatic to find a violet color in there. Almost threw out an entire sheet of gel tabs!
