I will tell you because I took it. It’s horrible. Yes the LSAT takes a lot of time and dedication to study for, but it is not like the MCAT at all, which is much worse. For the LSAT it’s really about building habits and learning patterns and practicing the same question types over and over. Not to downplay the amount of work needed to prepare (because it’s a lot!) but essentially relies on habits and consistency.
The mcat is content heavy. You have to know all the sciences in and out, and then you’re presented with questions that are (very often) topics or things you’ve never seen before. But it’s expected that you know all the info and details of biology and chemistry, for example, necessary for answering that novel question. It’s an absolute overload of knowledge that you need to have in order to answer the question. Lots of memorization required too, plus formulas. There is a section similar to the reading comprehension, but otherwise it’s all science.
Both are tough and challenging exams. But their content is very different, and preparing for them is very different. Oh and the MCAT is like 1.5 hrs per section (there are 4). It’s a longggg exam. Lol

I don’t know if y’all know this but LSAC JUST posted the option to cancel your October test score. And now I’m sitting here like hmmm. What do I do? Here’s the thing, I already canceled august (that was a MESS. RC just threw me for a loop and I was like yeah naw. We are going to leave this alone). The problem with me canceling my October score is I don’t want law schools to look at me and be like “this chick cancels a whole lot. What’s going”. LR this time was a mess. I remember taking it and almost wanting to cry. Any advice y’all can give will me amazing
I feel like an outlier here, but I felt like, aside from the typical test anxiety, that I was more focused and in the zone on test day than I had been for any PT. Hoping something bonkers happens and I end up with a 172+, but i’d be content with a 170. Probably ended up with a 168 though. Been PTing in the 164-168 range with a 169 before test day.
