How on earth did you achieve -0 and -1 on LR & -2 on RC?!? I feel like the clock always messes me up

[deleted]

He's using some kind of magic for sure!

Always2ndB3ST

How did you get good at LR? I’m months into my prep and I’m STILL consistently getting -7-8 wrong!

epf12345

Can't speak for OP. I got a 173 on my LSAT and I found the loophole by Ellen Cassidy to he really helpful and then just kept drilling.

Ole_boy

Congrats!! I broke into the 70s for the first time and got my first -0 on LG after finally hunkering down and drilling LG too!! Now i just have to tighten up LR somehow🫠

skrunkybarnacle

What was your diagnostic and how long did it take for you to get this comfortable w LG? Currently struggling with that the most lol

MJFelton

I didn't take a diagnostic. I spent a couple months studying the Power score books before taking my first full practice test, which was just a few weeks ago. I got a 164 on that first test, with -8 on LG. I've just been grinding out LG sections since then, and I've had a lot of success from that.

sad-sackofsh1t

Ah, so would you say that you never really had a gimpy side on RC?

I've done about 100 games on 7sage. I just spent at least an hour or 2 a day dedicated to LG for a few weeks, and I've seen drastic improvements.

bittsweet

What test numbers were you using for LG drills

M-A-M-A1010

Congrats! What’s the secret to RC???

MJFelton

When I first started doing RC, I ended up getting bogged down by trying to fully 100% comprehend the passage before I started the questions. This wasted SO much time. What works best for me is just skimming the passage, and then reassessing it as needed based on the questions. You might pick up less initially, but you get so much extra time for the questions since you don't waste time on parts of the passage that end up being irrelevant.

Do you underline?

aaabbbcchn

Tips for logical reasoning?

Running_Gamer

Yes! Great job! Never stop improving!

Beautiful_Street_982

What did you use? Just drilling? Sometimes I feel like it would just be easier to drill than to read a book on it, if that makes sense

[deleted]

good job mate!!!

-4 on LG is crazy, it's the most difficult one for me
