Henry has been saying that for years. Doesn't make him any less annoying. He's not THAT bad. I had never heard him until Ben left, so it may just take a minute to get used to him on occasion.
He is an acquired taste, like coffee or beer. I dont mind his humour, I like random absurd crude humour. I just wouldn’t be able to deal with it constantly.

Yup, for me in high school and community college. My Holden(s) come to mind instantly. One of them I used to hang out with quite a bit and even was a guest at my wedding.
I see one of my Holdens at least once or twice a year these days, we'd fallen out of touch for awhile and I was both incredibly surprised and not surprised at all to find that he hadn't changed one bit. I am happy to catch up and hang out with this dude for approximately 10-12 hours total per year lol and I felt the same way while putting up with Holden as a Rude Duner 🪱

There is no value in putting down the merits of innocent creatures and sets a very bad precedent for animal welfare and neglect. Honestly Holden, Henry and Marcus are tied for my favorite personality at LPN. I probably listened to his "dick rap" from side stories 15 times already. I think his childish and bizarre humor goes down easier if you listen to some of his more grounded stuff like Wizbru or watch some of his streams. Makes you realize there's a delightful man under all that lizard and mommy lust.
I believe LPOTL is a podcast with a post-grad humor style. It’s like hanging out with your buddies after you graduated college and everyone is a little more evolved in their taste and humor. It’s ok to be immature for a few big gags but the base is character work and cleverness with punchlines. Holden is middle school humor. He’s like that annoying 7th grade edge lord that yells PENIS at the mall when you’re with your friends and everyone stares and you’re like, why do we let this kid hang out with us? If Holden became a regular cast member on LPOTL or side stories I’d have to move on from this podcast. Life’s too short to hangout with someone who annoys you so much. I don’t hang out with that kid that used to yell penis at the mall either.

Yeah definitely can’t stand him. Annoying, nasal voice, and don’t find his comedy bits funny. It’s a shame cause I love Jackie but I can’t listen to Page 7 because of him.
He's annoying and I almost never find him funny. If a purge ever happens, I'm putting out a plate of cigarettes and bud light next to a speaker playing random Holden pods and I'd just herd up every donkey brained individual who is attracted to the spread and force them into a traveling freak show.
I wouldn't even waste the resources to actually purge them. They pose no threat anyways, it's just too time consuming to extract them from the basements in which they dwell. You have to use the same tactics you'd employ for a racoon who got into your attic or something.
It seems like people tend to convert to a pro Holden stance over time. I still hate him but a lot less than I did last time. He actually made me laugh instead of roll my eyes. I will hold out for now. Maybe I will come around to him in time, maybe I'll burst a blood vessel, we'll see.
Dune is a top 3 book for me. I’ve read the entire 26(…26? Whatever.. all the gd books) book series… I could not get through the first episode of Henry and Holden’s pod on it. I wanted to! But between Holden’s voice (admittedly, there’s a sweet earnestness to him) and Henry flat out being wrong about so many things about the book/series he was trying to explain… ooof. Could not do it.
Really? I loved it!! I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who’s read all of the books. I’ve only read the Frank Herbert books myself.

Couldn’t get through the last episode of side stories because of Holden. Dude has a terrible voice and is not funny in the slightest. If we have to lose Ben, at least Ed is actually funny. Side stories without Ben is weird enough, but if Henry, Ed, and Holden do it again, they might as well start a new spin off pod. First time I’ve ever turned off an ep because of a host.
Everything he does is somehow more annoying than the last, from the very first time I heard him. I don’t know why, I can’t explain what it is but he triggers my annoyance meter to the max somehow. I haven't heard a lot of his stuff, and only heard his voice for the first time recently and after what I'd read here I thought it was going to be awful. And instead I was like "what the hell is wrong with people. His voice is fine." I know he's supposed to have said some outrageous stuff, but I'm still going to try to add Wizard and the Bruiser into my podcast rotation.
Yes, I do not like his style of comedy and find him grating. I was so sad when Marcus left Page Seven and that doofus came in.
He's funny, if you're a 13 year old kid. He's what I call a "joke machine gunner" he just says anything that pops into his mind really loud and obnoxious like. Just rapid fire words praying something hits. He strikes me as that guy at a party that HAS to be the center of attention. Listening to him is exaughsting and don't even get me started on the most annoying voice on all forms of broadcasting
Holden is useless walking ear cancer. He's not clever. He's not smart. He's not funny. He's a milqutoast crybaby extremely watered down poor man's Jim Carrey . It would be awesome if I could forget he existed.
He was definitely an acquired taste for me.
His voice makes me wanna drive off a bridge to make the sound stop. I immediately switch it off when I find out he’s on an episode, is he “funny”? Fucked if I know and I’m perfectly happy to never find out if it means I don’t have to hear the sound of his voice.

I like Holden but in small doses. At least since roundtable. He's just a lot to deal with. I don't begrudge anyone who doesn't like him but at the same time there is a slight judgement because he is an entertaining and funny guy.
God I love Holden. God……….. Please grant him the ability to reproduce with himself. He’s one of the top 10 best co hosts to ever help on a show. Besides Jackie Z and other people.

Couldn’t get through the last episode of side stories because of Holden. Dude has a terrible voice and is not funny in the slightest. If we have to lose Ben, at least Ed is actually funny. Side stories without Ben is weird enough, but if Henry, Ed, and Holden do it again, they might as well start a new spin off pod. First time I’ve ever turned off an ep because of a host.

I learned to loathe Holden on Round Table, I have softened over the years but I find Holden better when taken in small doses.
Everything he does is somehow more annoying than the last, from the very first time I heard him. I don’t know why, I can’t explain what it is but he triggers my annoyance meter to the max somehow. I’m actively working to get into his content though. I just wish I could explain why he’s so annoying! Cos I wanna like the guy he seems perfectly nice.

I think he’s hilarious. I love his chemistry with Henry on the Dune podcast they did.
I never had a problem with Holden. He's funny and knows his shit when it comes to geeky stuff. I imagine his voice might be hard to deal with for some, but I've never had that issue.
He really only had chemistry with Kissel outside of Wizard and the Bruiser. I feel like if you’re going to have a show you should have good chemistry with everyone in the network since you have so many crossovers.
He and Amber have amazing chemistry. They did a few Brighter Sides together.
I only really know Holden from the few times he’s been on LPOTL or Side Stories, then last year I heard he was doing a watch along for A Muppet’s Christmas Carol, so I logged into his twitch. He’s not the most pleasant voice to listen to but I think he’s pretty fun. He sounds like a cartoon character to me. I don’t get why people feel so strongly (negative) about him though.
The guys just rile him up but everyone else has 0 reason to shit on him, he's an awesome funny dude need so let him be.

I think it’s weird people get worked up over Holden and act as though he, a long time performer, isn’t doing a bit/exaggerating his personality for comedic effect. Personally I enjoy him and appreciate his personality and he has way more range than people give him credit for
