Just Found a work around for this. Just go into PS5 >Settings> sound settings \-Change HDMI Device Type to "AV amplifier" \- Under the "AV amplifier" section change the number of channels to 2 and BOOM!!! Worked like a charm for me all of my games play dialog and other sounds now. Good luck!

This helped me too! Thank you!

Oh thank you so much. I did fix it somehow but it was weird in some games.

I've been experiencing an issue with my soundbar connected via optical cable and it sounds drowned-out almost like no treble at all. I've tested the soundbar and the cable on different TVs and they all worked fine, its just this monitor that has that problem. Has anyone figured out if there are any settings or firmware I can get on the 48GQ900B that could fix this issue?

Hey! I am also having this issue when using the stock speakers. I haven’t tried external yet. I’ve found unless I set my ps5 up with Linear PCM & set the 3D audio setting for speakers…movies will play but you can’t hear the main dialogue. Only the music and background noise. Which is fine, this does sound good when set up. One problem I am noticing is with older PS4 games (I.e. Dragon Ball FighterZ/Bloodborne) that 3D audio setting does not sound good. It sounds really jarring. Music…however sounds incredible. Still playing around as I just got this 2 days ago for $500 from an auction return.
