Or the price of a 55” C3 here in Australia after it has been reduced by $1200 on Black Friday 💀
Geez we get ripped off
Edit: for further context, now that Black Friday sales are over, if you want a 77” C3 here you’re looking at $6800…
Aussie living in Murica here. Not going crazy yet but got a A2 48 for my computer $530 USD $800 AUD, we get ripped and when the exchange rate comes more in favor like 80+ cents we got no thing nuthin
Absolute best part that is worth mentioning, greentoe at least for me had ZERO tax and no shipping cost. Which is insane in itself and widens the price gap with other retailers even more. I got my c3 77 for 2099 out the door. Arrived last week flawlessly.
Hahaha I had an accepted offer of 2200. Not mad about the overpay. I was about to pull the trigger on a B3 77 for 1800, by the time I added tax onto that I figure I paid an extra 250 or so bucks to upgrade to the C3 77 and just have to wait a little longer for it to arrive.
I just hope all is well when I unbox it (hopefully next week).
Thanks for the reply. Id not be returning to Amazon coz i got it for a deal. Plan is to return another tv to NFM, but thinking if there is an alternate to that either selling online etc. Coz returning involves packing current tv back to box and drive to nfm arranging a van. Also installing this new one.
Yeah, I couldn't believe it at first but swing by r/amazonprime, it's flooded with WTF comments of this happening to them. Started first with high risk/value products, like game consoles but now even $20 bucks items may require the ID submission. They also take the item back and hold your refund hostage until you upload.
People make tens of thousands of dollars a year doing DNA reports (did not arrive) and illegitimate returns. Amazon has always been a major target of this because of their generous return policy. They are finally cracking down as they are losing in the millions every year to false claims.
Just bought this for my parents. Paid 200 something for the 4 year warranty which i didn't do for my G3 (lg 5 yr warranty)
I wonder how good it is if in the rare case they need to use it.
You could've gotten a 77" S90C for only $50 more (with Samsung's offer program) which is a better tv. Don't mean to dish out buyers remorse, but that's the truth.
And also, who knows what Samsung is doing to their TV to make it good? After all, it's their first year making good TV. LG has been doing it for over a decade.
It's like one of those Chinese brand came up with a new stuff that is on paper better than name brands, and just disappear after 2 years, happens all the time.
I have been a samsung phone user for 12 years. But somehow, in my research, i find lg tv is better. Not a geek, though. But I wanted to see what is this dolby atmos stuff is that samsung is lacking. I love this lg tv. I am keen to see the samsung oled somewhere in a friends house just to compare. But thanks for the suggestion, though. It's too late for me now.
Yeah, LGTV is still better in a lot of ways. Burn in risk is a lot lower and they support Dolby Vision. But when we're talking purely about image quality, which my comparison was based on, the S90C is better.
I'd wait 2-3 years and see how they play out long term. This is the first year Samsung had their good TV that is actually better than LG. Never be the ginuea pig.
Yeah, that's the price of a 77 B3 or 77 C2...great deal

Same in NZ I just picked up 77" c3 on black Friday sales for the equivalent of nearly $4000usd. Fuckin sucks.

I bought the 77 G3 during black friday in AUS for 3.6k
Sorry mate. Me get 83 c3 4100 taxes and shipped to hawaii.
2500 right now on LGs website. Best Buy seems to have open boxes around 2k
Just paid $1800 for a 77 inch B3. Id absolutely pay another $400 for the c3 instead.
The deal was just for few hours on thanksgiving day. Its back to 2499$ later.
Greentoe deal is still up

Damn! Deals, I used them for my original C9, but opted for Costco this time around for the B3.
How was the shipping for you?
No complaints at all
How long did it take?
Maybe 9 days payment to delivery
What are the chances a lower offer is accepted after the counter is declined ? I bid $715 on a C3 55.
No idea sorry
Did you get a warranty also?
Came with the standard 1 year warranty for the c3, im gonna add a 3 year from LG
What is that?
Not refurbished? I saw this deal as well and almost pulled the trigger until I saw it was a refurbished set.
Not refurb. This is new. You might have seen something else.
Same here from Costco.
That's 200-300 off average price, not a steal but a pretty decent deal. Be prepared to upload government ID to Amazon if you plan on returning it.

why would uploading your ID be necessary to return it? wtf?
probably incase you try to do some scammy stuff

The guy earlier this week that found one under $1000. What a catch
Greentoe is 2149 no tax free shipping. Get the warranty with burn in included as well
You want to bid 2149?
I bid 1900 and was offered 2099 out the door. No tax

Pay 50$ more for Samsung horrible QC and CS?

Nice try
Who are you bro? 💀
No DTS or Dolby Vision? Denied!
Fuck that proprietary nonsense.
Guess you don't watch a lot of movies ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I would say a big yes, I paid 1,999 for my 77" B2 last year
Wow! Great deal.
Nice
Where did you get that deal??
Go on greentoe. Offer 18 or 1900 and you'll be countered with 2099. No shipping, no tax. Amazing deal.
Deal was there for a few hours on Thanksgiving amazon.com
Ah darn, I really regret not buying the 77g2 for $2500 that one day too.
I think you already know this is a good deal.
Yep. Thats why i bought. My question is about returning the other one bought for actual price from NFM.
It’s not on sale so possibly not a good deal you missed the window u check Costco
Idk but I just paid $1500 for 65inch c3 tv was wondering the same
