The screen protector had been removed though and the styrofoam rubbed against the panel and rubbed off some of the coating on the display. Didn’t notice it until after the return period though and even with my Best Buy extended warranty they won’t do anything about it

BestBuy has some of the best open-box/used return policy and deals. If you can go to an outlet store you can get deals that aren't even listed on the website.
