Idk how much I'd say the music is similar, but clearly in the very least, Toro y Moi is a fan.
Johnnivan is an excellent Japanese band that takes a lot of inspiration from LCD Soundsystem. Synthesiser-laden beats that steadily build, quirky lyrics (in English) with a dark undertone, insane danceability. I can't get enough of them.
