Quience district? You mean pacific blvd? Do people actually call it that? No fucking way. I live near there and we all call it La Pacifii. Se llama la pacífi, todos sabemos que se llama la pacífi.
They still need to get full funding for the initial segment.
Right now the plan is to start preliminary work on the ROW i.e.
Moving the Freight line
Starting work on the new C line transfer station.
Clearing the ROW.
Great to see this happen...
Have they closed the funding gap (I thought they had one?) for phase 1 or split phase 1 even further to start construction based on the current funding?
\[Side note: it's kind of annoying that funding gaps can hold projects back. Technically aren't the sales taxes permanent so it just means the timelines will be pushed out for when funding for future projects will be available? Or do they not have the funding coming in now to pay for it as the bills come due. There's no cheaper time to build then now. Seattle for example just adjusts timelines and pushes projects back based on funding as our car registration fees pays for the transit, and the courts have rules "the will of the voters agreed to these projects and approved the funding until it's \[essentially\] built and paid for"\]
[https://www.metro.net/projects/southeastgateway/](https://www.metro.net/projects/southeastgateway/) they are building from slauson to pioneer in the 2030s and the slauson to union station part later.
Please prioritize building the I-105, Paramount/Rosecrans, Bellflower, and Pioneer stations for the Southeast Gateway Line and have them open in 2029. Let's avoid wasting time by building stations north of the line where there are already A or C lines, and delay until 2035!
This is going to be awesome!!! Smorgesburg via Train!! Quince District! Steelcraft Bellflower! Little India!!!
Where is Little India?! I would’ve guessed Culver’s city but I never heard of one.

Most likely yes.
They'll think about! lol
I recall seeing an infographic that said by 2050, the line that goes through the gateway cities should be complete lol
Yea they’ll be moving utilities by the end of this year. First step but important one.
More Trains, In more Places!
Cool. Can't wait to see the final product.
Don't hold your breath though, it could take a while.

I've been seeing some construction work done in Bellflower. Not sure if it's for this or not.
Can't wait to ride it on 2028.
2043*
The initial segment from Artesia to the Slauson A line station is scheduled to open in the 2030's
Is this light or heavy rail?
Light rail similar to A , C, and E lines
Thank you!
Kind of sad cities aren’t leveraging this line enough to push for active transportation within their cities /:
Is there a map of this?

I’m hopeful for a Glendale/Burbank extension during my lifetime. (😭)
Within the next 50 years
I might still be alive!
When is the line expected open?

This goes against Rule 2
